In the past several decades, Rush has influenced more people to become conservative and Republican than any other public figure other than Ronald Reagan. This Schmidt guy is a knat swarming around a giant and he needs to be swatted away once and for all.

Schmidt was also involved in the McCain campaign. Some resume he has.

Sigh...on a philosophical basis, I love Rush. More often than not, on that basis, I agree with Rush.

But, here’s the thing: Rush is provacateur. He says outlandish stuff-he attempts to illustrate absurdity with absurdity-to keep his ratings up, first and foremost. He forgets-as my grandpappy used to say-you get more flies with honey than vinegar.

And, unlike twenty years ago (when you knew when he was kidding and when he wasn’t) he has created a persona of “serious commentator” that doesn’t allow us to excuse his (often funny) stuff.

As a result, he creates unnecessary distractions.

I DON’T want him to go away but I DO want him to go back to the days when he was able to convince people he was a satirist and not the voice of the movement. I want him to go back to skits and other things that puncture liberals with humor instead of just railing against them.

Rush is extreme. You can thank him for the Sandra Fluke phenomenom and of coursse you can thank him for operation chaos four years ago.

Your position on it is what? Welcome to FR.

We needed to muzzle two candidates who are supremely ignorant about rape. Their stupid comments confirmed every awful suspicion women have about Republicans.

Don’t worry Rush. You can join our new crusade for secession!

Family values
Pro-life
Pro-faith
Anti-Islamic
Anti-communist
Patriotism
Capitalism

We will stand by these principles. Oh, and about that document that was supposed to protect us from the likes of Obama? We’ll take that with us.

The GOP won’t fight the fraud, it means they are dead to me-again. The fraud will be 10x worse in 2016 because of the spineless GOP.

Yep. Philadelphia county took the entire state of PA again! More votes than voters.

The GOP is a means, not the end itself.

What’s the point of having a GOP if it’s just going to be a wimpy version of the Democrat party?

If Rush Limbaugh was the leader Mitt Romney would never have been the nominee in the first place.

The day we start muzzling people is the day we should get some balls and take this country back. If not, we deserve everything that comes our way.

Censorship. The first refuge of the cur.

Yet this was the gang my friends have been asking me to vote to put into power, as the bargain to get rid of Obama.

Voting for curs is guaranteed to be regretted.

I like and listen to Rush as much as anybody but sometimes he can say nasty things that border on racism that no matter what color you are might find funny in private.

I personally think America right now is just like a drunk who hasn’t hit bottom yet, and thats the problem.
