Washington State - Every State Office Goes Democrat
06 November 2012 | zeestephen

From Governor to Insurance Commisioner - eight offices - a clean sweep for Democrats. Same Sex Marriage passed. Legal Marijuana passed. Cantwell easily reelected to US Senate. US House, 7-4 Democrat, GOP lost one seat, I think.

Wish I could move.

This state sucks and liberals make me sick.

100% vote-by-mail allows all the lazy parasites to vote with ease...just as planned by the dems. Pick up your gubermint check from the mailbox and drop off your ballot with all "D" boxes checked. Not much different than paying bills, except the money moves in the opposite direction.

This will spread to other states.

Actually, the governor race is really close. We will not know until the end of the week. But the dims always seem to find some extra ballots.

Well, one way to look at this is that whenever a natural disaster strikes Washington State, they wil have the same response as NY & NJ. The dictator will still be in power and never leave. The Media will splash the photo ops of the dictator and Washington State will be fine.

Washington state voters have chosen. They can follow their friends in California in voting themselves all the goodies their hearts desire. My only real concern is they have friends in Wash DC who will back them up when the coffers run dry in Washington state.

I never thought I would say this; but let them wallow in their cesspool. It will eventually sink them like quicksand.

My sympathies to our FRiends in Washington. CA has turned into a hellhole, and it seems Washington is jealous.

people should know that the voters here are so stupid that they seem to be electing a guy for Attorney general who has never tried one single case...he's been a law clerk basically...

I hate this state...

Yea, but who will back them up when (not if) the coffers run dry in D.C.?

Look at the county map and you'll see that on almost every race and almost every measure, the East side of the Cascades votes the opposite of the King county area. Jay Inslee is leading only 9 of 39 counties yet he has almost a 2% lead. Commissioner of Public Lands is being elected by the metropolitan areas of the state.
I wish I could say that I was surprised.... This sucks!

Jay Inslee is a freaking idiot who is not qualified to be a governor.

McKenna is really a great leader and would have be a superb governor.

Washington state is the first political body in the history of the world to vote to legalize abortion.

Now we have legalized marijuana and gay marriage. It’s over, people.

Economic chaos will naturally follow.

How about us in the 3/4 or so of Washington counties who did not vote for this stuff? Are we to wallow also?

I don't put put marijuana in anything like the same moral category as legally endorsed and sanctioned perversion. It's just another drug, like alcohol is a drug.

But on the homo thing I am so disheartened. Must have said hundreds or thousands of prayers that 74 not pass, but not at all surprised that it did. So is praying for good and righteousness useless in this rapidly declining society? I am demoralized.

And on the economic chaos thing: probably true, but it is the earthquakes, volcanoes, floods and asteroids I am really afraid of.

california had a run for it’s money this election - early returns showed only 10% separating the Dems from the Reps - pretty interesting in a supposedly overwhelmingly Dem state

Yes, it is over, but it’s been coming for a very long time.

I see that you live in the heart of the beast...you have my empathy. At least I live at the top of my mountain on the Olympic Peninsula.

I think I have cast my last vote in this life, of 64 years.... I am done. Good luck to you and others, but I am done.

Did you notice that Idaho was running at perhaps the highest anti-Obama vote? If it wasn’t for my 96 yo mother here and a few other things I would move to Lewiston. May end up there later on.
