So it's not just the checkmark. I am just reporting what states Fox News has called. 49 Electoral Votes so far.
Ummm....49 for who? What are they calling?
N Carolina looking bad
real bad
with 15% in
O-57
R-42
its not over yet
I meant
(|)-52
R-47
anybody else getting an ulcer?
N Carolina - early voting...
Georgia was never in doubt. Now if we can just get FL and NC the Deep South is Solid Republican once again.
52-47 with 28% accoeding to my local news here in NC.
I’d be surprised to see Obama win here this time, imho.
15%? Pah. I don’t worry about it until 100% of a state is in impossible to call until then anyway.
I’m sick.
Don’t Stop Believing. Journey has just begun. It will all be clear in about one to two hours. For some of us will have to pass out and wait, if it isn’t.
Well, apparently each democrat gets four votes so did anyone expect anything different?
Sorry, the 49 EV’s were for Romney by Fox News. It’s changed already to 71, and Obama has 78. (Sorry for the mixup-My original thread was pulled so I got all flustered!)
me too
Not at all. Early returns will be from urban areas - Obama strong holds. Later returns - rural - Romney country.
Do yourself a favor scroll down, click on the states.
8^)
Sounds like O Reilly and even Hume are leaning toward O winning due to the hurricane and fat boy Christie slobbering all over him on camera.
They also said the the hurricane eclipsed Benghazi which Romney wasn’t talking about anyway.
Obviously the night is just started, FL and VA and PA will be the first critical states.

Rove disagrees.
Fat ass Christie needs to be locked up without food.
What I am not seeing in Florida is a huge increase in Romneys votes in fact it looks about the same as Mccain at least on the counties reported. Obammy is suffering a somewhat depressed turnout.
This may get rough.
Lard boy Huckabee says GOP will win the Arkansas legislature.
As does Huck. Did I miss Rove? I turned it to FBC to watch Cavuto instead.
Rove has a lot of others $$$$ bet on this race, His Crossroads took in a lot of GOP money to defeat O, err, I mean to raise issues in ads.
He is not a bystander in this one,. That makes him interesting to watch as he plays FNC analyst.
I was never ga-ga about Christie anyway.
The guy I really cant stand to watch on FNC is Dick Morris. He gives me the creeps and he is so full of.....
Rove (the Rodent) can be interesting to watch.
Nor was I, I was rather mystifyed as to why some people wanted him to run for President, no one that obese would win.
However I did stick up for him and say "give him a chance" and that wasn't a huge RINO pusbag.
Looks like I was WRONG and most freepers were right.
Morris is scitzo on twitter.
He says Romney should win Florida by 5-8 more then says he’s worried cause Obama is ahead, then he’s says Romney is catching up.
He also says he’s glad Linda McMahon lost in CT. Cause she “shouldn’t be in the Senate”. WTF? I don’t like her much either but what?
BOR also said something that I agree with: That O has had more success than he deserves in buying votes for free govt. stuff. You can say I am exaggerating, but looks like voters have seen what Obama does and don't care.
Brit Hume says Romney has to draw to an inside straight (FL, SC, NC, VA, OH, CO) to win. Romney win seems unlikely but not impossible. Intrade has probability of O win now 94%.

Could the stupid ass hurricane made the difference?
That is so god damned stupid. The weather?
Sorry I’m too agitated to tell if you are mocking the American people or me.
If what I said was stupid I’m sorry, my head hurts.
Not mocking you. Mocking about half of the voters. The point is that it is so easy to distract them.
Right, sorry.
So, weather machine?
Or maybe God thinks Romney is too big a RINO. ;b
Lame.
The actuality, it’s random chance, which is lame.
This is 2000 all over again.
We need to control tv. We need some kind of tv network that reports what needs to be instead of fixating on nonsense. GOP should put money into it. Of course they are too blame as well for playing along with the media and not pressing the rats on stuff that could be major help to us!
If the GOP hired Sickoflibs to run things they’d have won big.
Well if you believed the ‘Romney will win in a landslide crowd’ then there are no logical explanations. In fact O cant win.
But if you believed that Mitt was never really ahead(electorally) and he still needed a boost and was instead playing it safe (which he was) then something like this hurricane can make the difference. I tried to warn about him doing this but it wasn't received well.
Like all those posts this morning claiming that long lines at the polls in Maryland mean that Romney is winning the national election??? As I said there were 3 other people in the room to vote when I got there very late in the day. Marylanders don't like going out in the dark when it's chilly out. This was more than wishful thinking, it was downright delusional.
As you can imagine I have lots of Dems at work who I will have to listen to a gloating party if this ends the way it looks, even though I never predicted Mitt would win..It is not going to be pretty.
Look guys, I like nothing Obama does but you gotta offer an alternative to win and just hating the other guy doesn't make it so.
Thanks, I really love you bro :)
The way I saw it Mitt was playing it safe instead of attacking, while O was attacking him big at the end to get out the base. I said this when Mitt completely dropped the Benghazis US consulate attack as an issue. Meanwhile a hurricane came to O.
If you believed the ‘Mitt will win in a landslide’ crowd then playing safe made sense. But Mitt never had the electoral advantage unless a miracle happened and instead Mitt played it safe and Obama got the hurricane.
2006 I swore off Koolaid
But I certainly didn't know who would win this time and never claimed i did.
what did we expect from a one party election ???
He was playing safe. I was torn on whether that was a good idea or not.
NOT obviously wins! Attack attack attack. Thomas E. Dewey 2.0 just as I originally thought months ago. At least we took care of buissiness in the House. In 1948 we lost the House.
They called Ohio. It’s over. Romney will get VA but not CO or NV or probably IA. Good night Irene. Good morning Vietnam.
No booze in the house. I’m not a big drinker. I’d chug if I had some though.
Me too, but I still can't understand that many voting for O.
Can I give you a snapshot from my polling station today?
Yes, it was in CA, but still I think it's instructive.
Right outside the 100 ft. perimeter of the polling place: a car parked with a "Vote Democratic" bumper sticker.
The young woman behind me in line, wearing a button -- a GOP symbol with a cross bar superimposed on it -- "It's OK," she explained to a bystander, "it's not a candidate, so I can wear this."
This same young woman said she worked for Planned Parenthood.
Ahead of me in line: the neighborhood imbecile, who asked me "Are you here to vote?" in a loud voice. No dear, I'm there to play pinochle.
This same guy said "I haven't done this [voting] for four years. I've forgotten what it's like."
This guy and the PP girl joked about how you should "vote early and vote often."
OK, it's CA, and CA went for BO, but maybe this gives you an idea.
:)
:)
That is the way it ended up the last few months.
Or you have to buy votes to win. What alternative besides graft did Obama offer?
Mitt never had the electoral count in polls.
Let me take a quick wag, go easy on me please :) :
1) Safe strategy and wishful thinking, at the end Mitt was agreeing with O more than disagreeing.(I saw this as a danger sign) He acted like its an easy win. And the economy in the recent months, all that counts, appeared to be slowly improving. Then you got the hurricane
1b) O at the end went on attack rallying all his various victim groups to the polls.
2) Huge demo graphic changes largely do to immigration, nonwhites
So Obama was generally personally liked more than disliked. I know hating him can cloud sights but if you want to see you have be willing to open your eyes. Romney tried to be like-able to compete,
3)Rs took over the house and just looked stupid. It was near pointless.
Speaking of #3. Is that a$$wipe Bitch McConnell going to resign NOW since he said his #1 goal is to make O a one term POTUS? Or will the stupid party rally behind him? Boehner needs to go with him.
Obama was the incumbent. You offer an alternative to the incumbent.
I left off my list of GOP curses : GWB legacy. Its only been 4 years, he was POTUS for 8. That gives Dems a powerful argument. And how was Mitt different from Bush and O to the causal observer?
I think you got it. I look back to John Kerry.
He had nothing, no message but BUSH SUCKS. I told my liberal friends that wasn’t enough. People on our side at least then were in Bush’s corner (other than the the smart people who realized he was a rino) and there was no enthusiasim for Kerry.
Obama is a damn disaster and it should have been enough, but no. Just like disaster Harry “White Obama” Truman before him. Both Truman and Obama should have been destroyed.
Indies may have soured on Osama but his base still likes him, I have reports of locals celebrating.
After 4 years of GHWB, I didn't find Clinton particularly inspiring but he won. Romney tried, but O was the better deceiver? Maybe this was like the OJ trial -- the jury was going to acquit OJ no matter what the evidence was. Maybe, as you suggest, Romney could not overcome the GWB curse.
It's really embarrassing to have such a person as the leader of the nation.
Maybe the GOP is dead. A dozen or so very vulnerable Dem senators, and the GOP lost seats.
Earlier today I pinged you )and others) with a cheerful flashback to 8 years ago 2004 when Dems created a website called “I'm sorry world, com” and posted pics of themselves to the world with signs saying that they were sorry that GWB won again and they voted against him. It was pathetic and fun to watch them humiliate themselves.
They made victim jokes of themselves.
But in the next four years they plotted and strategized and made GWB the focal point of every problem in the USA, and yes, Pelosi was very effective at it. By 2008 GWB was as popular as a bill collector and Rs were toast, as was the economy.
I watched them on their shows starting 2005 and they plotted about re-0framing political issues to destroy Rs. And it worked.
Simple lesson, Make O own EVERYTHING bad that happens. Make him own it.
Getting around to counting House seats.
We lost every close race in IL except the 13th.
Barr beat Chandler.
Roscoe B crushed in Maryland 1 as expected,
West is tied in FL. Garcia (rat) beats Rivera. Frankel beats Hanser. Grayson wins big. Southerland (R) Wins. Webster had a close call.
In Georgia Rat Barrow survives. ;(
MARK CRITZ LOOOOOOSES in PA.
In Indiana that seat Susan Brooks held the Dan Burton seat by 20 points (;) )
Walorski BARLEY picks up Donnelly’s seat. Senator elect. Donnelly’s seat. I thought that was a gimme.
In Iowa it’s 2 to 2 as expected. Latham clowns Boswell.
NH. Kuster beats Bass. Gunita is TRAILING CHE-PORTER.
The rat, JEanne SHaheen 2.0 crushes that loser Ovide Lamontaigue for Governor. That state can go straight to hell.
3 close races in Arizona.
NY
Tim Bishop wins 52-48
Nan Haywoth (R) is trailing.
Buerkle loses big.
Collins beats Houtcul in the 27th. But BARLEY.
Slaughter wins easily.
Bill Owens (D) squeaks in again!!
Tom Reed (R) in the 23rd is in a tight race. Up only 3 k.
In MA the rat is barley ahead of Gay RINO Sissei.
RI-1, was not close.
IN Ct 5 the Rino is narrowly up. He could be the only GOP in New England if Gunita losses. Or we could go back down to zero.
The rat is leading Canseco in TX-23.
In NC, rat Mike McIntyre is ahead by a few hundred with all the vote in. DAMN!!!
Matheson leading Love in the early going, nOOOOO.
Berg is slightly behind in ND Senate as Cramer easily holds his House seat.
In MT, early, Tester up and GOP up in the House race. Rat Governor candidate up.
Gain only Nebraska. Democrats plus 2 net? Really? REALLY?
Flake won AZ, Heller is barley ahead. If he Berg and Reberg all lose it’s minus 3 net. If they all win it’s break even.
MN 08, Chip Craavick is narrowly behind. Michelle B is TIED. Shite.
Net loss of house seats certainly. You were right Phil Collins. But still not for the specific reasons you said. ;)
Michigan.
Benshiek (R) barley ahead with 80% in.
Paulbot looks like he’s holding the McCotter seat.
Ohio 16, Renacci (R) beats Sutton.
In CO, Tipton wins. Coffman ahead with 63% in.
Many tight races in Cali, for the first time in over 10 years.
