There are a lot of Vietnamese and some Afghans too. I remember the black Africans who told me they felt some native American blacks didn’t like them because they were not quitters.

I live in East TN. We get to see the SW Virginia campaign ads. Tim Kaene has been running bold-faced lies regarding the coal industry for two weeks now. I tlaked to a guy at a gun shop in Bristol, VA who said he has lots of family in the coal field areas and they are fighting mad that the democrap party is airing such lies while the workers are being alid off because of Obama’s war on coal through the regulator czars he’s appointed to crush their lives.

There are a number of Ethiopians and Eritreans in the area ~ mostly up toward Manassas, but throughout that county. Today while voting we talked with an Ethiopian lady married to an Eritrean man.
They merged our precinct with another one to the East of us in a redistricting so we had some strangers there ~ but as usual, just about everybody was from somewhere else. These foreign guys from third world dictatorships vote in every election ~ ask 'em ~ they'll tell you it's a sacred duty.
Interesting.

Our voting place was packed, too, in Bedford Co. Did you get to see Mitt yesterday? We did. Front row center & got to shake hands with him!

I just had a back-and-forth with a guy that says that waiting in a line is a form of voter suppression. I guess he never had to dodge mortars and step over dead bodies and avoid PSL fire but in his mind, just the mere idea of having to wait in line is enough to create the environment of voter suppression.
I hope he stays home.

We had two types of voting ~ with electronic machines, and with paper ballots.
Knowing what the Democrats can do with paper based systems I always select electronic.
There was enough of a crowd things were getting backed up, and the folks running the site would encourage people to come over to the paper ballot line to get through faster ~
That's a form of voter suppression ~ tricking them into using a system that will allow the Democrats to cheat.

iN 2008 the Democrats were promising all the small business people that the government was going to take over the insurance needs for their employees so they were prepped for Obama ~ BTW, that's pretty much what all the foreigners around here are ~ small business owners.
They fell for it. This time they all had the Republican voting sheet in their hands. They really don't want to pay heafty fines and go to prison for screwing up a medical insurance form ~ just something so un-capitalist about that, and so Uber Dictatorship ~ and most of them know all about dictatorship.

Romney takes VA and OH .... PA and FL is a little shaky now with all the voter fraud by the democrats/Obama campaign.
Hope there is a whale of a wide margin overwhelmingly in FL and PA that off sets Obama's campaign and Dems trying to cheat, steal and fraud there way to win.

Yes, I know.
I lived there when I was a senior executive an Israeli defense contractor. I went to the Pentagon every day.
It’s 99% dependent on government largess.

It's sort of 7 or 8 miles south-southwest of Washington as you go down 95.
It's about a mile from the Potomac River and Dale City is about 2 or 3 miles due west of that.

Might as well say that Fairfax County and Monkey County ( Montgomery ) of O’Malleyland are the same county in 2 different states.... same demographics... same BS.

The Capitalists all live South of US 50 ~ you get your lawyers and government contractor's sales reps in the North.
Bet you spent your weekends with people from Bethesda.
Next time you'll want to venture Down I-95 ~ whole 'nuther world.

The Demographics are remarkably different. Monkey county is mostly white and black ~ native born ~ all Democrat. Fairfax is diverse with fewer whites and fewer blacks.
You have to be a racist to want to live in monkey county. You can't afford to do that in Fairfax.

Yes, I started to read the other post about the other counties surrounding DC.
No, I am not a native of VA but I might as well say I spent a lot of time in VA with my family living there.
Those 2 other counties mentioned are like Monkey Co MD ?
I remember many of time that I spent driving down 95 or route 15 to 29 to see family in VA
Since the 80s Chesapeake VA has gone down hill big time.
To: muawiyah
Not particularly.
I went to the Chabad Shul on Shabbos Prince William (?) and then worked on Sunday.
I mainly hung out with Israeli ex-pats.

http://www.mavensearch.com/synagogues/C3343Y0P11RA That'd be a Lubovitch synagogue on Prince William Drive. There's the Jewish Center over on Little River Turnpike. Always knew a number of folks who went there ~ and a number who actually went there for the gym ~ I"d guess that's because it followed traditional rules of modesty.
BTW, where I set is within a 10 minute drive. So, howdy neighbor!

Arlington and Alexandria are both leftwingtard impacted regions, but they are far more diverse than monkey county md. None of them hold a candle to Fairfax though.
