This will be a running thread for morning anecdotal observations of voting in wisconsin. What are you seeing at the polls?
This morning, got there at 7:15, as normal. Cars parked in the street, and on the playground grass. Line was out the door by 25 people. Maybe 100 total in line. I was out at 7:45. Voter #258.
This is a precinct that had 2100 votes in the Walker recall (66%/33% for Walker).
Saw my first traffic jam in 13 years at the town hall this morning.
Alot of crabby looking middle age white guys coming and going. Demographicly things looked good...
...thats outside Algoma. Union town.
Will the nastiness of the recall help Romney (opinions)?
In Louisiana, two Republicans are going at each others throats with nasty campaign. One Republican lost his district and was forced to compete with a fellow Republican. But the one who lost his district came from the Tea Party.

Wisconsin Democratic Rep. Tammy Baldwin made history on Tuesday with her election to become the first openly gay U.S. Senator, defeating former Gov. Tommy Thompson in the most expensive Senate race in state history.
Between them, the two candidates raised at least $65 million. Thompson conceded the race at around midnight.
