I wonder if their trashing the White House tonight? Why wait for the last minute. Steal the silver, slash the paintings and rugs. I wonder if the Clintons will show up to help out.

I liked the tweet that said Obama was crying because he just found out that the private sector wasn’t doing just fine :)

It’s too small a market to be ‘smart.’ In baseball, maybe, there are real stats, so it’s a smart market. Not this time.

People are betting ‘gambling money’ and not real investment money. Also, they are betting conventional wisdom. They are not mostly American, so they don’t have their ears to the ground - especially as poll skews go.

Any small market like this is open to distortions. This year, it is way way way distorted based on a single assumption that the pollsters are baking into all their numbers.

They’re not being dumb. Neither is Nate Silvera at the Times. They are just unaware, can’t believe, that the media polls could be wrong. If you believe the polls, then Obama is a good investment.

What’s really going on, though, is that if you understand the skew, then you have the equivalent of legal insider information.

Now is when we should be watching for the “Lonesome Rhodes” moment.

does anybody remember this. on fox many months ago, there were two guests, conservatives, cant remember thier names. they wrote a book on the 08 election. they tell the story that when obama is a senator, he tells his then press sec robert gibbs that he got a call from reid and pelosi to go see them. when he comes back, gibbs asks him whats wrong, he says nothing’s wrong, they want me to run for president.

That’s not a concession speech; she’s endorsing Mitt Romney!

I don't often laugh out loud at my computer at 1:31 am.

Can’t watch them. Only time I could stomach watching these two children of Satan is either his concession speech or his trial for treason.

Could not agree more! I still clearly remember the Kerry supporters who, sure of his victory based on the exit polls, were gloating and asking each other if they’d be moving to DC. Bob Shrum went so far as to shake Kerry’s hand and say “May I be the first to congratulate you, Mr. President?”. Then the real votes started coming in and - VOILA!- W won again. Boy did they look foolish. I read those posts over and over b/c they were so delicious. Don’t want us to go there, though.

agree....don’t forget....”the indiviual mandate has been shot down”!!!!........”correction”....ughhh that hurt, dont want to feel that pain again

He chose the evil ways. Don’t start feeling sorry for BathHouse Barry now. Remember, God gave us all free will. He chose all the people and the politics in his life, as well as his pastor and the rest of his “lifestyle”.

“Strange memories on this nervous night in 2012. Has it been four years? Eight? It seems like a lifetime, the kind of peak that never comes again.

“Barry’s election was a very special time and place to be a part of. I was proud of my country for the first time.

“But no explanation, no mix of words or Springsteen music or memories can touch that sense of knowing that we were there and alive in that corner of time in the world when he won. There was hope and change in any direction, at any hour. We could strike sparks anywhere. There was a fantastic universal sense that whatever we were doing was right, that we were winning.

“And that, I think, was the handle - that sense of inevitable victory over the forces of old and evil. Not in any mean or totalitarian sense; we didn’t need that. Our energy would simply prevail. We had all the momentum; we were riding the transformational crest of a high and beautiful wave.

“But now, less than four years later, we can go up on a stage in a swing state somewhere and look back, and with the right kind of eyes we can almost see the high-water mark - that sad, sad place where the wave finally broke and rolled back.”

Amen. Pack your bags Moochelle.

I just listened to this entire rally from Michelle to the bitter end and here were my thoughts:

1. Definitely a concession speech for her. In fact I thought she almost wept herself a couple of times. She’s spent her entire life being angry at us, and maybe for a fleeting moment she appreciates the amazing honor this country bestowed on her despite it. Michelle gave it away — she knows it is over and even she can’t fake it. After tomorrow there will be a President-Elect Romney and her majesty’s reign is effectively over. No state dinners, no state addresses, just enjoying the perks for a couple of months.

2. His stump speech doesn’t even pretend to care about the facts anymore -— he just barrels along with whatever he thinks sounds good. Laughable now that Obama is actually saying he reduced the deficit. And in this speech he threw “al qaeda’s on the run” back in.

3. Even his little story toward the end about North Carolina was full of BS — see-sawing between contempt for small townsfolk and outright fabrications. And does anyone believe that the chanting lady wouldn’t have flown up to Des Moine for another 15 minutes in the sun?

Even at the very end they were classless, phony and clearly do not know what makes this country great. Sad for America to have endured 4 years of it and God Bless us all tomorrow!!

Intrade is NOT inside info. It’s mostly european money. They know so little about America, but think they know so much.

Obama going down hard. Count on it.
