In a conference call this afternoon, President Barack Obamas re-election campaign had one central message for their supporters when Election Day arrives tomorrow: They should keep calm, even if they hear snippets of information favoring Republican Mitt Romney.
My warning, we need to stay calm for much of the day, Stephanie Cutter, Mr. Obamas deputy campaign manager, said, touting thousands of early ballots already submitted by voters. Weve already banked a pretty big portion of our vote.
The fear, she explained, was early numbers leaking before voters have finished going to the polls, creating unnecessary panic and pessimism among Democrats.
Who talks about not panicking---unless people are starting to panic a little?
That's usually our line.
I'll repeat it for the conservatives. And I'll add, don't rejoice too soon, either.
"REMAIN CALM! ALL IS WELL!"
Well THAT is a good sign IMO.
I think they’ve known for a while that it’s going against them. I think they’ve been trying to protect the “Down Ballot” races for the House and Senate etc....
This is the best sign I’ve seen that they know it’s over. They are just fighting to keep the other down ticket races viable.
In other words: “If you can’t save me, at least avoid a down-ticket disaster like 2010”.
Team Obama knows it’s over for them. Panic in DU tomorrow.
IF you are winning WHY in hell would you announce that to your base....that sounds so McCain. His poll numbers PROBABLY ain’t that Candy eye sweet!!
If early exit polls look bad for Zero, don’t look to the MSM to release them.
Drudge will probably release them.
I wonder if Steph’s “concern” has anything to do with this:

LOL!! I thought the same thing!
There is no need to panic! Everything is going according to plan!
I highly recommend creating unnecessary panic and pessimism among Democrats for much of the day, thus lowering turnout.
Oh ya don’t forget to let the dems know that because of Sandy, they get to vote on Wednesday as well, no rush needed.
Exactly. She knows Obama is done, but needs them to still turn out to avoid a down ticket debacle.
And no more angst-ridden vanities here, we hope. `We’: My mouse “Oddball” and me.
“Enough with the negative vibes.” Oddball “Bring it on!”
It smells like liberal panic, and victory for us!
