US presidential election: who does the world want to win?
Some countries have moved away from their strong support for Barack Obama four years ago but it is by no means a done deal for either candidate

Mexicans by and large would pull for Obama.
“...who does the world want to win?”
I couldn’t care less.
A commentator on Bloomberg TV this morning said that 90% of foreigners want Obama to win. Of course, he was a 20s-something hippie from Australia, so one wonders why his opinion carries any weight.
I don’t care either. Just thought the comment from Iran was interesting about the “surprise”. What the heck can they do?
The fact that we have journalists musing about who the “world” wants to win offends me.
I could not possibly care less about who the “world” wants to win.
Does the rest of the world think we care who they want?
Thhe whole of Europe *desperately* wants Obama to win. The corrupt Eurocrats have seen a chance to transform America into their own blueprint, and will try anything up to hi-pressure meddling (”observers”).
Eurabia wants its Kaliph.
They don’t have to live under the BaCrock regime. We do. They’re opinion is worthless.
The depressing part was, predictably, the comments, in which the Left continues to cling desperately to its narrative in the face of facts: the notion that Bush had the U.S. stuck hopelessly in two wars, for example, when one of them had been won and the mess in the other was yet to be made, by 0bama. It's an awfully good thing for all concerned that the Guardian's commentators don't vote, because most of them are idiots.
Unfortunately, so are a large portion of U.S. voters, whose own aspirations and fantasies are quite as uninformed as an African villager. It is amusing, however, to note that the people quoted are as disappointed in the promised unicorns pooping skittles as their American counterparts have been. If none of the latter vote, the country could only be better off.
We win Serbia, Poland, Israel, Taiwan, and probably a handful of African countries that have beef with Kenya. In other words, we have everything that matters.
That will roll over like a dog to get their approval...
That’s easy. All they have to do is come across the border and vote. It would be ‘ra-a-a-cist’ for them to have to prove residency or submit a photo id.
I could give a rats behind of what the world wants, I want Mitt.
I live in the U.K. and a lot of people abroad want Obama to win but really don’t have any understanding of our culture and what matters to us. And their leaders are flat out boring, so they feel the need to look to ours for inspiration. It’s pathetic.
And I also think they like the idea of America being a wimpy, apologetic failure.
Surely it’s not like they’re rooting for us.
