Friday, in a shocking move, Local 150, an AFL-CIO member and the largest local in the 8th congressional district of Illinois, endorsed Republican Congressman Joe Walsh, a Tea Party favorite, for reelection to Congress. The union had endorsed Barack Obama for President, but favored Walsh over his Democratic opponent, Tammy Duckworth. Walsh is also endorsed by the Illinois Chamber of Commerce and the taxpayer watchdog's group, the National Taxpayers Union, which makes for an amazing bipartisan trifecta.

Good news for Joe.
I watched one of his debates with Duckworth. Duckworth was dumber than a box of rocks.
Union members are being killed by The Disaster. Construction workers all over the country haven’t worked for four years now. All those unions associated with construction: electricians, iron workers, carpenters, plumbers, concrete workers, truckers, roofers, and many others.
Coal miners are under attack. Industrial union members are being cut back, laid off or out-sourced.
Workers, union and non-union, are being destroyed by The Disaster. Their families are being crushed. And I’m not even going to get into what the taxes are doing to them.
