[During the Bush administration there were] legions of "Clinton generals" "who have been schooled in political correctness and who vehemently oppose ... conservative policies and programs."
Though the quote is not precisely fitting vis-a-vis these endorsements I do think that Mr. Gertz is absolutely correct.. and it just may be that some of the officers endorsing Romney are among those whom Gertz described and they have decided enough is enough. Enough politics already.. Things are that serious.
so glad to see many USAF generals whose names I recall from my time in the USAF (1986 - 2006).
AIM HIGH!
I hope so.
I really do believe that it is time for the military to choose sides.. not blindly accept "civilian control" ignoring its existential threat to our Republic.
To wit, Abe will explain from "the other side."
You initiated a policy to tolerate the Marxist-Alinsky radicals and let them rant; not only has it not ceased but was constantly augmented by decades of infiltration and indoctrination. You now have two Americas. In my opinion, it will not cease until a crisis shall have been reached and passed. "A house divided against itself cannot stand." I believe this government cannot endure, permanently, half statist and half free; I do not expect the house to fall; but I do expect it will cease to be divided. It will become all one thing, or all the other.
Obama is a biological-ideological issue of the 1960s Marxist-Alinsky campus radical, psycho spoiled brats.
I can’t begin to imagine how much longer Romney’s column would be if active duty military were truly free to speak their minds! I’d love to know what someone like, say, Odierno, says about Zero to his wife in the privacy of their home. I’ll bet it’s brutal.
Nathman’s call sign is ‘Black’ and he was always quite the narcissist, so fits well with the joke he’s endorsing.
Here is another Newspaper Obama flipper to Romney:

Our View: President of the United States: Mitt Romney
Romney has successfully run large organizations in both public and private arenas. He governed as a pragmatic moderate in Massachusetts. Arguably a corporate manager’s skills and entrepreneur’s insight are exactly what’s needed now.
To the eventual winner here, this page would make a plea for balance - and not just in the budget - that has been too long missing in American government. The nation is no more well served by a plutocracy than it is a burgeoning welfare state.
Sometimes, a course correction is required. Mitt Romney gets the Journal Star’s endorsement for president of the United States.
