When she got off the plane, she found out that Hizzonor had cancelled it. So she swapped her return ticket to Atlanta for a ticket to Savannah, where she ran in that city’s marathon on Saturday. I have a neighbor who flew to China to run on the great wall in some dopey race. I agree with the others who say these “runners” are self centered narcissists. They are. It’s all about how the run makes them feel and their perception that they are so freaking cool because they run. Big deal, they over exercise and wear out their knees before they are 40, great. Yeah, that’s real freaking cool.
She should sue God and that freak running NY for putting her through hell. Better yet, she should sue the storm victims for getting priority over her.
