She’s right though. Sandy completely stopped Mitt’s momentum. What looked like a race moving in Romney’s direction a week ago is just tied now. Instead of talking about Obama’s record, the news is all about Sandy. It gave Hussein the chance to “feel our pain” and look presidential. People also tend to want to “come to together” in times of tragedy and that made it harder for Romney to criticize Obama as much as he probably would have liked to in the closing days.
In this case an act of God helped the bad guys - possibly quite significantly. The Lord works in mysterious ways.
God could not have helped Bronco without a compliant media willing to grasp at any straw. Besides, I still think God has the final say. Have faith.
No...it did not.
It exposed Obama for the incompetent fraudulent grandstander that he is.
It illustrated in fact just how competent Bush’s response to Katrina was in camparison to Obama’s total failure.
From what I can see it increased Mitt’s momentum and opened the eyes of a great number of people who are suffering in the north east.
Sandy completely stopped Mitts momentum
Lemmee get this straight, Obama is slipping in the national polls, until a storm hits the East coast. The president flies to the East coast, shakes a few hands and gives away water, food and gas to people who were gonna vote for him anyway and all of a sudden, we can forget about 4 years of declining employment, 4 years of socialist government by fiat, an Ambassador slain on foreign soil while the administration preens before potential voters, etc., etc.
NO. I watched all of the Meet The Press, Face the Nation Democratic Spin Doctors. And YES. This is what they say too.
But I don’t formulate my opinions based upon what the media decides I need to formulate my opinions on.
A storm on the East coast has changed NOTHING...
