Sandy completely stopped Mitt’s momentum

Lemmee get this straight, Obama is slipping in the national polls, until a storm hits the East coast. The president flies to the East coast, shakes a few hands and gives away water, food and gas to people who were gonna vote for him anyway and all of a sudden, we can forget about 4 years of declining employment, 4 years of socialist government by fiat, an Ambassador slain on foreign soil while the administration preens before potential voters, etc., etc.

NO. I watched all of the Meet The Press, Face the Nation Democratic Spin Doctors. And YES. This is what they say too.

But I don’t formulate my opinions based upon what the media decides I need to formulate my opinions on.

A storm on the East coast has changed NOTHING...

The people most feeling the pain in the aftermath of sandy won't be watching the Sunday shows an listening to the talking heads. The last they heard was Obama was going to be standing beside them and getting them all they needed. They are still waiting.

You realize that people on both sides think Sandy probably helped Obama. The only question is how much. What was a disaster for people in the northeast was a boon for Hussein. You can dispute that all you'd like, but the national polls were moving to Romney (he was even up 2-4 in Rasmussen) and now they are back to tied. It's not that the hurricane was decisive, but in a super close election is just gave Obama a chance to be presidential and sway some last minute undecideds. Ofcourse people like us here on FR weren't fooled, but we are not undecideds either.
