From what I have put together from various links on the internet Benghazi was supposed to go like this: They(the regime) would bribe a couple of dozen youth to protest the video(I found two links that confirmed this) then real terrorists “supposedly” under the control of the Obama regime would kidnap Stevens. Obama would rescue him and he would have something to talk about at the debates.Once again politics trumps all.

As we see the terror types got tired of being the fall guys. Instead we know what they did to Stevens and the other CIA guys. This is also the reason why no help was called in, and those who tried to help, the admiral and the general in N.Africa were told not to. When they persisted they were fired or severely reprimanded. Zero thought the terrorists were “his” terrorists so why call in for help?

Only after it was too late did they figure out they had been double crossed.

I think one of the things that might well have happened here is that the “safe room” HVAC protection failed and that’s what killed Stevens and Smith in the end.

I’m not sure there was a double-cross in any case.

... the “safe room” HVAC protection failed ...

I read something on this the other day, wish I could remember the source. There was NO "HVAC" in the safe room - no fire supression, source of air, etc. in the event of a fire. The comments were that the 'safe' room had never been properly set up - yes, they had bars, some supplies, but no way to get through something like a fire. Another example of total negligence and incompetence when it came to security and safety.

There is little doubt that Stevens died of smoke inhalation. My guess is that he would rather breathe diesel fumes than let the terror types in his room knowing what they would ultimately do to him and they did anyway.

I don't think there was any effort at all on the part of the administration to help anyone there since they thought the terror types that were there were being controlled by obama.

Unless you have researched this thing for weeks and read hundreds of links this all sounds really bizarre. But its the conclusion I am currently drawing.

Found the comment on the safe room:

One former Special Op now employed by a private company in Benghazi said that even the safe room wasn’t properly set up. He said “the safe room is one of the first measures you take” and that he is “not sure how you can set a safe room without fire suppression and ventilation in case of fire.” He also said, “Ambassador Stevens would likely be alive today if this simple and normal procedure was put into place.”
