If Bush were POTUS, it would be New Orleans all over again.

I wonder if the Giants/Steelers game will proceed tomorrow; the new Giants Stadium would serve as a nice open-air Superdome (and certainly is well stocked).

We need a graphic of the kid driving the school bus.

No water. No bullets. No food. No lights. No gas.

Send your thanks to Barack Benghazi @ ofa. com.

Jeez, outsource it to Walmart and Home Depot, two companies who understand logistics. Oh, wait, the Eastern libs don’t let Walmart stores in their cities and towns.

Aren’t we going to get endless stories about how this administration has failed... about how people are miserable and suffering because this administration is against white people.

They don’t have a set of standard terms for standard emergency rations? Like a contract that is put out for bid once a year or every five years to provide quantities at a set predetermined price? And that contract is not with a number of vendors so that one or another can deliver?

We do this all the time in the real world. Some call it a “Call Off Contract”, an agreement to purchase at a fixed price for a period of time with delivery terms and quantity increments / limits and usually a sliding scale price that goes down the more that is bought.

Very simple really.

These feds are a bunch of damn fools.

Can’t they have a set pre-determined rate for things like dozers, cranes, loaders, debris removal per ton, water, cots, MRE or other food rations, fuel etc.?

Vendors “are currently being evaluated,”

Translation: FEMA is checking names of the vendors and their principals against the database of compaign contributions.

Maybe I'm reading too much into this, but I'm thinking Chris Christie bought himself a whole lot of protection from criticism by bringing Obama to New Jersey for that photo-op.

Now, when things continue to get worse for many people in this state, he can just say (in his best New Jersey accent): "Hey, I brought da president of da United States here to fix it. Whaddaya want from me?"

FEMA should just contract with WalMart to bring in food, water, clothing, tools, etc.

WalMart would get the job done on time at about 10% of what FEMA costs.

And they wouldn’t be sitting around in $500,000 SWAT vehicles with empty gas tanks.

The next big push for the "Gaia Groupies" is to ban the sale of bottled water in their communities.

Those dung worshipers don't understand the benefits of the concept of finished goods in inventory, particularly when it's at the old style brick and mortar store within walking distance.

I wonder how they feel about bottled water in emergency situations?

I wonder how they feel if their actions reduced the supply of bottled for emergency situations?

The more the US Gov’t spends, the less it is able to do.

We have $1 Trillion deficits, but can’t deliver water.

we have hundreds of overseas military bases, but can’t save 4 US embassy employees.

We spend more on poverty than ever, yet have record numbers on foodstamps.
