Yeah, and eight days before the 2008 election - 8 days! - McCain told everyone that we had nothing to fear from an Obama presidency! Yeah, that sure helped.

Sarah Palin was announced as the VP pick on August 29, 2008, for two weeks after that announcement McCain led Obama for the first time, and then people realized that, “Oh yeah”, they're voting for the top of the ticket, and two weeks after announcing Palin, McCain lost the lead and never recovered.

This is a far, far different campaign. It ain't some 78 year old white-haired old man against the “cool” black guy.

This is “Obama-the-destroyer” against a very smart, well-spoken and experienced businessman.

Game over.

WOW, funy how th emedia ignores this yet a frigging again, maybe people have had enough of hsi radical left agenda, his anti religion agenda, his homosexual agenda, and a bad economy, but saying that obama has never ran a hot dog stand and yet these clowns voted for him, lets hope millions have woken up and many in the black community too, though I won;t hold my breath about that as many in the black community see a non white guy and that is all they care about

That does not make you bad, either. In fact, you must be a very good person passionately pursuing a way to make a difference in a matter of conscience.

You probably ran into a bunch of dweebs who simply had no playbook on how to address your concerns.

I don't drink cool-aid, I'm a diabetic. I would have answered your post earlier but I was out walking neighborhoods for Romney for the second day in a row. It may not seem to be a big deal but I got to see firsthand the enthusiasm for Romney. What have you done?

Incidentally, I have to walk with a cane.

Huckabee said he believes this is going to be like the Chick Fil A moment. That there is going to be an amazing outpouring of support for Mitt Romney which is going to surprise everyone. Except us, of course!

Not sure if it was Huckabee, Krauthammer or one of the other Fox hosts but one of them made a very astute observation and comment. He said the polls do not reflect the Evangelical voters! He then explained that Evangelicals are not considered a 'block' since they are 'value' voters who show up in large numbers when they feel the values they cherish are being challenged. He used the 2010 election to cite statistics on Evangelical voter turnout. According to an article in News Max:

That turnout among conservative people of faith was a 5 percent increase in evangelical turnout over 2006 and was the largest ever recorded in a midterm election, the coalition said.

White Evangelicals Turn Out Big, Vote Republican

That was for a midterm election; this one, is presidential. Any Evangelical who watched the 2012 Democratic Convention, will be at the polls on Tuesday!

Thanks for that info about last night’s rally being available on c-span.org... I’ll check it out. We were at this rally in West Chester last night... It was awesome! Hope I don’t depress anyone, but I’d estimate the crowd size was closer to 20,000.... 30,000 is a stretch.

Haha, I’m getting saturation bombed with pleas from the Obama camp for donations. I have never received anything from democrats before(I’m in Alabama so not a swing state). I think what put them on to me is that I installed an Obama app for my Iphone that lets me see where the democrats live in my neighborhood, i.e. “know thy enemy”. Because of that I was placed in an Obama database as a supporter I’m sure. I have had fun replying to the donation requests, lol, you all would be proud of me. Oh, and I just made my 3rd $100 donation to the Romney/Ryan campaign tonight. I just wish I could do more. 2 1/2 days and counting.

How many of us would scream bloody murder to find out that Obama’s minions (Obaminions)were doing this type of thing?

I support Romney\Ryan and pray that they win, but not at any cost. If we can’t win honestly and with integrity, we’re no better than the liberal democrats.

Thousands couldn’t get in before the rally began, because TSA only had 10 screening positions, and was hand wanding EVERY SINGLE PERSON through the lines. I watched thousands more leave before it ever started due to the incredible lines.

We got there at 5:50, and finally got in maybe 15 minutes AFTER it started. Completely missed Giulianni’s speech because of it.

I’ve done nothing. I’m not stumping for a liberal. Even if Romney wins, I lose. So screw it. I’m out this year, no candidate represents me. Just a choice between socialism and communism.

I told everyone that if the GOP wanted to nominate Romney they could very well do so without me. Guess they figured they could. I know I’m not the only one.

What’s hilarious is all the rah-rah going on around here over a squishy Boston moderate Republican. Can’t wait to see what that administration would look like. —sarcasm—

Good luck with your election. Polls aren’t usually wrong, and they are saying Romneys not going to make it, at least in OH. But you never know, there’s always those odd times when they all screw it up.

Oh how wonderful for you to be able to attend the rally nutmeg. Hopefully you got glimpse of our next President.

Did you have a problem with power in Ct? We're still without power and the earliest we can expect it to be restored is election night at 11:00 p.m. To think I may not be able to watch the returns as they come in is beyond anything I can imagine. Hopefully I will have access to a computer and can get to read what's being reported. If I hear he won Pa. than I know it will be an early night and we'll know before morning that Romney won by a landslide.

I was there! The crowd was jazzed up and the place was as clean as a whistle when it was over.

This is the TEA Party!
