I know many of you are signed up to be in prayer during these last three days for this Presidential election. I have often found that sharing our prayers and meditations is one of the most powerful aspects of the Free Republic community. So I started this thread, hoping that you will share your prayers with me.
Dear Father in Heaven, As we head into the last few days of this most important time for this great nation, we thank thee for the blessings we have had to live here, to worship here and to raise our families in this greatest of lands. We thank thee for all the great leaders who have served our country with wisdom and faith, and made choices according to your will. We ask as we head into the last days of this election that Mitt Romney will be inspired to follow in the footsteps of those leaders of faith who have gone before him, that he might inspire this great nation to rise up on election day and choose him, a man of faith, to lead and guide our country back to the values that it was founded on, that we may again strive to be a righteous nation and again be built on the foundations of faith, freedom and family. Please be with each of us that we might “pray unceasingly,” have the courage to continue to fight the good fight, no matter who mocks us, and ultimately have peace in knowing that you, Father in Heaven, are with us no matter the trials we face. Please bless all who stand in need this day, particularly those facing the destruction of the hurricane, The Romney and Ryan families as they work tirelessly these last few days and hours to bring this nation back to you, and lastly, please bless and keep our soldiers safe, wherever they serve may they know that our love, prayers and our thankfulness are with them for the sacrifices they make for each of us. And we say these things in the name of thy Son, Jesus Christ, Amen
Father in Heaven we praise your Holy Name and thank you for our blessings. We are at a crossroad Lord and need your help more than ever. May your Holy Spirit clear the mind of the American people and may they see the truth.
Please bless Governor Romney and we pray that you help us and that we may see your mighty hand on Tuesday, as we try to turn this great nation back to you. It is in the name of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ that we pray, Amen.

We need a vigil from now till the opening of polls on Tues. There is power in numbers. recite the Rosary, pray for our nation whatever we can do for Romney and Ryan.
Father we ask for Your divine oversight & intervention in Tuesday’s election so that this country, which is on the brink of collapse, can be saved. We thank You that “God You are greater than any other” in the words of the song. We bless You Father! We put our fate entirely in Your Hands, and pray for mercy.
We pray for Breakthrough! We pray that record numbers of God fearing voters who desire to see this country saved turn out for the vote. We pray that all ballots are tabulated Correctly & Honestly!
We claim a landslide victory in the electoral college for the candidate who loves You, loves Israel sincerely, protects the defenseless, loves life & doesn’t need a secretary of business to tell him how to do 7th grade math. We will celebrate with songs of joy when You move on our country’s behalf, O Lord. Amen.

Dear Father in Heaven, I thank you for all the bounties and mercy you have shown to me, to my family, and to my country. In these difficult times, we pray that you will look down with compassion upon your faithful servants who are beseeching you for your assistance in this time of need.
We beg for your mercy and help during the final days of our election cycle. We ask for the election of god-fearing men and women. We thank you for raising up the team of Romney and Ryan to be our next leaders. We implore You to send down the Holy Spirit upon these candidates, and upon the citizens of this country as we go to the polls.

I know you have, as have many others. I honor and am grateful for your prayers.
My dearest Father in Heaven,
You know that I am not the best with words in prayer but you know my heart. You know that I care so deeply for my fellow Americans and for my country. I am heartsick at all of the division, corruptness, deceit and persons turning from You. I pray fervently with the help of the Holy Spirit for the blinders to be taken from your peoples eyes, that they are able to discern good from evil and vote accordingly. I pray that you protect and cover our leaders with your grace and mercy. May the man who loves you most and his country most (and I REALLY think that is Mitt Romney) win handily and that any that would try to commit fraud be found out and exposed. Please have mercy on this great nation as we have strayed. Let those good peoples who truly care about this country, freedom and liberty see victory through the blood of the savior, Jesus Christ! Could you please allow this thread to stay on Activism/Chapters or another sidebar up through the election?
I think it is a powerful tool that will help us win this historical battle to save our country. I realize it can be placed in the Religion forum but main page(News/Activism) seems to get a lot more attention.

Eternal Father..We are so grateful for the blessings you have bestowed on us..We ask you spread wings of protection over this nation and this coming election..May we elect godly men who love you and will govern wisely..Protect our candidates and all who are voting...May the election be free from tampering.
Lord. we ask you to go with Romney and Ryan these last days before the election and guide their words and actions so that all who vote may be inspired and enlightened and led to the truth.
