Nick Clegg has warned Britain is at risk of leaving the EU if Tories keep trying to “unravel” Europe by clawing back powers. After the Government lost a vote to rebels on the EU budget, the Deputy Prime Minister warned that Britain is in real danger of exiting if Tories keep “stamping their feet” and demanding new rules.

He also claimed “a grand, unilateral repatriation of powers might sound appealing, but in reality, it is a false promise wrapped in a Union Jack”. …

In a warning to the Tory leadership, Mr. Clegg said there is a “shorter leap” than anyone thinks to Britain exiting the EU in “an outright crisis that would leave the UK fully marginalized”. He also told euroskeptics that Britain “cannot afford to give the impression we are going to disengage”, amid growing fears in Europe about the country’s commitment to the EU. …

Nick Clegg - Bought and paid for.

I truly pity what England has become. In many ways it goes clear back to WW I and WW II, so many of England’s best perished and the those that stayed behind were really not the best to lead that nation into the future.

Interestingly enough, “raveled” means tangled and/or confused. Perfect description of the EU. To unravel the EU therefore means to untangle the confusion of that empire.

I knew the EU was going to be a problem, when before it was implemented, nearly all of the governing board resigned because of corruption. Bad, bad omen.

The discussion about EU budgets continues to be absurd, too. Ever since the creation of the EU, its auditors have never once signed off on its budgets; didn’t stop the EU from going ahead and spending on those budgets though.
