The Republican nominee would not be down by 2 if Todd Akin had acted appropriately and stepped aside rather than in the interests of his own ego.

Thank God this patriot didn’t listen to your liberal nonsense.

Outside group promises to spend $800,000 for Akin

A group that calls itself the Now or Never Political Action Committee announced Wednesday it will spend $800,000 on television ads to back Todd Akin for the U.S. Senate in Missouri.

The organization also is sponsoring TV ad buys in several other states, including the competitive Senate races in Ohio and Montana.

“Now or Never PAC is committed to helping the Republican Party recapture the U.S. Senate,” said spokesman Tyler Harber.

Says who? The two other candidates would not have been allowed to run in his stead had he stepped down, so we'd be facing a known incumbent with an unkown someone that wasn't even in the R primary. That sounds like a winning strategy to you? That sounds like a guaranteed McCatkill re-election strategy to me.

AND it would have cost Akin over 200,000 dollars to withdraw and file the paper work PLUS some of the military votes would have been disenfranchised. Akin's record is one of the best in congress. He is more conservative than Mitt Romney. What Priebus, Rove and Cornyn did was wrong. Rove should be fired for his comments on murdering Akin.

Stark difference between the full blown liberal McCaskill and Akin...you can take that to the bank. BTW, Akin is the type of candidate I have fought to represent me..not the type I would ever want to throw out.
