I do not talk politics, and I am not here to endorse anyone, but I have to say it---Hurricane Sandy is pummeling the east coast and where are the presidential candidates? Romney is out west, Ryan is in Florida (which the storm has already bypassed) and President Obama, he flew back from Florida and is in DC helping evacuate people from nursing homes. Just saying...I think more of a man who cares about helping people in a crisis than someone who runs from the storm. Everyone complains about the job The President has done in the past 4 years, but in a lot of that his hands were tied by congress. Let's look at something else, Romney has already said he would abolish planned parenthood, did you also know he wants to abolish all forms of protections. So not only will we have children out there who are unwanted and not cared for, but also, without the use of condoms, the spread of disease. What is wrong with this picture? He has also made statements that make women feel like 2nd class citizens and they should be at home and not part of the working force. This is the 21st century, not 1950's!
This is what we're up against.
People talk like it was a fait accompli that government is a nanny, and are sweating the tiny things that this nanny does or does not do. Good grief people, get a grip on yourselves.
