I wasn’t sure but it sure seemed like this should be Reagan/Carter II. Obama disappointed people and they were just waiting to see Romney be a plausible alternative. The debates provided that unvarnished look.

Yes, and it's disgusting. I'd have far more respect for an Obama who sold liberalism unashamed under an honest label, rather than calling it conservatism.
