What is with the ignorantie of the left with their statements that Republicans are anti science? I have been seeing this more and more. Does anyone know the probable source?

My benchmark lib, a libinlaw, has been using it for a while.
Funny thing, in reading “Intellectuals”, I found out that this was one of Marx’s common “arguments”. His ideology was “scientific”, and anyone who opposed it was “unscientific”.
What we need to do in refuting this claim, especially in a couple of areas they use it in (evolution and global warming), is that the definition of the scientific method precludes their conclusions on these issues.

I really think it is associated with global warming, as they use junk science and outright lies to promote the idea. In my discussions with lefties over global warming, their only comeback is usually Republicans are anti-science.
