It would be difficult for me to believe that Massachusetts is competitive for Gov. Romney. But there's no bank-shot play for other states that I can think of.
Any ideas, folks?

Privately, the candidates are both thinking that Massachusetts is competitive....

I would guess they would be targeted to New Hampshire voters.

There are NH stations which, I imagine, are less-expensive than Boston stations, no?

Just a surmise on your part, or are you basing that on something else?

Why would they not think they should try in Massachusetts, Romney was governor there. The only time a candidate has not won his home state was Gore. I would at least try.

It's gotta be to reach New Hamphire voters (I-93 commuters?)
To: sitetest
That’s how I’d read it. If Mass. is comfortably in Obama’s pocket, why should Mitt try.

They are targeting NH but obviously looking to reach a lot of MA voters as well. I'm not necessarily predicting a Romney victory here in MA but it's going to be a lot closer than what the bogus polls here are saying.
Also, the Romney signs definitely outnumber the Obama signs around here (I know, lawn signs don't vote).

I find it humorous that leftist station owners are willing to take dollars from a conservative candidate.

LOL! I didn’t mean while they were driving! While they’re in Boston. :)

Southern NH, specifically Nashua, but really anything south of Manchester, which has it’s own media market, specifically WMUR...

Dear SamAdams76,
I was in Cambridge for the weekend and although there were definitely some Kenyan bumper stickers, frankly, I saw more Elizabeth Warren bumper stickers. And there weren't tons of either.
But I didn't see anything for either Gov. Romney or Sen. Brown.
I guess folks must be right about NH. Apparently, there's only an ABC station that directly serves NH. The other commercial networks originate out of Boston.
It was just a little jolting.
Kinda like if I saw a Romney or Obama ad on a local Baltimore, MD station. Which I haven't.

I got 5-1 from a guy at the track that Romney takes New Jersey. We did elect Christie.
