I’m sure the people of Colorado Springs are heartbroken.
No hope for the dope in Colorado and his non stop sleeping on AF1 campaign has him longing to be back amongst his homies.
Also, now it is certain to bypass DC the perfect time to return to the command hut. I vote for his going to the Steel Pier and commanding the storm to go out to sea. I’d put him on a donkey and he can impersonate the horse dive into the pool which used to be an attraction there.
Maybe he can monitor the sand storm in Libya too?

There are some places you don’t waste your time on in this country. An Obama campaign stop won’t change how El Paso votes.
They knew their rally would not compare favorably with the over-the-top Romney Rally at Red Rocks that Gina, a caller who had attended, reported to Rush’s show last week. She gave a great synopsis of the enormous gathering of super-enthusiastic voters that attended.
Perhaps Obama’s people caught that show and knew their own rally would flop. After all, his voters don’t walk miles uphill for anything that doesn’t end with them getting free stuff.
Colo Spgs is republican. It’s a good place for him to skip so he can ‘’look presidential’’ in the wake of Sandy.

I understand that Peterson AFB has a great golf course.
Reminiscent of McCain suspending his campaign and rushing to Washington.
But but but ... according to Team Obama mouthpieces, Obama can do everything from AF-1. So why does he need to be back in Washington to monitor Hurricane Sandy?
Answer: Because the election is just over a week away and he needs to be seen as being PRESIDENTIAL.

This is kind of misleading, Red Rocks Apmitheatre is in Denver County, Red Rocks park is 90 miles away in Colo Springs.

He wants to get back to the Situation Room to watch the devastation and then fly away to Las Vegas on Air Force One nestled sleeping in his kingly bed.
Maybe he wants to be sure to watch while people in the Northeast get blown away. Or -- he needs a little extra sleep for a fundraising trip to Las Vegas.

Ain’t hard to figger it out why he decided to monitor the storm instead.
I do hope he does a better monitor job than he did with Libya. He stands to lose all his east coast moron votes.
