The security officer had a laser on the target that was firing and repeatedly requested back-up support from a Specter gunship, which is commonly used by U.S. Special Operations forces to provide support to Special Operations teams on the ground involved in intense firefights. The fighting at the CIA annex went on for more than four hours — enough time for any planes based in Sigonella Air base, just 480 miles away, to arrive. Fox News has also learned that two separate Tier One Special operations forces were told to wait, among them Delta Force operators.

No, the AC-130 is one of the most accurate platforms we have. Even with its 105mm howitzer, the gunship is accurate to within less than 10 feet, and it’s just as deadly with the smaller weapons, the 25mm and 40mm cannons.
Believe me, IF there was an AC-130 over Benghazi on the night of September 11th, and the CIA guys were lasing targets from the roof of the annex, Spooky would have made short work of them.

The headline gives the impression that there was a plane on scene ready to fire. The article does not confirm this. It states that targets were painted with laser and backup was requested. There is no information that the backup ever arrived.
You could get everybody on it, including thousands of people making videos on YouTube, and nobody will notice or care.
I want to give this administration the benefit of the doubt, so I have largely held my fire on this matter in the sense that maybe there is something we don’t know.
But, if this is true, and it appears to be....
I am disgusted beyond belief at this man in the White House, and I refuse to call him a president.
I did not think my feelings toward him could be any worse, and if the American people find out about this, there is no way he will be reelected.
Hillary was likely involved with that decision and remembers it well.
It is my opinion that SOF resources were not approved in this situation not because they weren't trained, prepared, and equipped to execute this mission but it was too close to the election.
Now lets go back to the Carter Admin. The "Debacle in the Desert" as I like to call it (Read: Iranian Hostage Rescue attempt) doomed Carters chances for re election. The Obama advisers remember this well and likely discussed it when the POTUS was briefed on several courses of action in Lybia. The risk analysis conducted of a SOF element becoming engaged in "Indian" country with the potential of greater escalation would have had a greater impact of the election than the sacrifice of the 4 Americans. Their thinking not mine. This was a political decision pure and simple.

McCain can’t talk too loud about it. He fully supported arming the Libyan ‘rebels.’ In fact he wanted to put American boots on the ground in Libya. It’s not the first time he has armed Muslim terrorists either.
