why is it that most blacks today have to give their kids stupid sounding names.
Ive aksed some blacks this and some have said that it;s different but how is Mubrasha, lakisha, tabrisha, tahisha different?
Then there is shakira sharmeka etc.
I worked in a school district in a large county in TX and heard about the twins who were black. They pronounced their names as Or-ahn-gelo and Le-mahn-gelo. But when I entered their names in the database it was spelled:
Orange-jello and Lemon-jello (hyphens added by me)

This isn’t new. It’s just more common today. When I was a teenager in the 1970’s we had a girl with an africanized name. When asked why her mother gave her a name that defied phonics and meant nothing in any language, she would reply, “We are poor and my momma knew that she could never give me anything, so she gave me a name that no one else has.”
And, that is the essence of the black problem in America. They give up at childbirth and pass it on to their children.
you’d be shocked what my black dil named our grandtr...after an character on an English tv show......no “mika’s” or “isha’s” for her...lol.....
I don't think real Africans even come up with these names, do they?....
