True, but the law works best with the easily quantifiable. You can’t legally drink until you’re 21. Twenty years and fifty weeks is still no drinks for you. Can’t drive until your 16th birthday. Have to be 18 to vote. There has to be a cutoff for juveniles somewhere, and to be dealt with legally, it has to be easily quantifiable. Personally, I think 18 is far too high, and I’d move it South. However, no matter were we moved it, there would be point where a juvenile couldn’t be legally accountable one week, but be accountable the next.
