Like to see the questions and methodology. Remember reading they ask if someone has one same sex experience in their lifetime = bisexual.
Maybe a girl got drunk in college...
1-2% is usually the stat so this seems high.
For decades it was the absurd 10% figure - to give homosexuals more political power.
1-2% probably is gay
The rest might have given it a try or something and they’d get counted.
Or, perhaps something like a question [asking] if you find any members of the same sex to be good looking.
That's right, you can't be impressed with, say, an athlete's body [assuming they're of the same sex] without being at least bisexual.

Of course, they want you to believe they have up to 10% nationally - for, as you well point out - political power!
There are quite a few states where the 'gay' population is below 1 percent - most of them, if I remember correctly, are in the mid-west.
“For decades it was the absurd 10% figure - to give homosexuals more political power.”
Yup. The 10% claim was completely fabricated by some early gay activist, who claimed it was a scientific statistic from the Kinsey Report. Only problem was, there was nothing in Kinsey’s work that ever actually said that. So it has been nothing more than a popular myth from the get go.
This might be the same group that's clueless about political questions - but answers with great authority. Questions like 'Do you feel Tom Hanks Vice President of the United States should give up his membership in the Bull Moose Party." There are groups that would give a definitive answer to the above bogus question. I'm with you - 2% is about it.
And they used it. One grooming technique used on hundreds of thousands of HS sophomores over decades by a “leadership training” seminar has been to ask the children to think of a number from one to ten. The speaker pauses and then states: “One in ten of you picked a number that number means you’re homosexual because one in ten of us is a homosexual.”
The kids go nuts and for the rest of the day ask, “What number is the gay number?”, frightened that thinking a number means they’re gay. This organization is riddled with Leftists and aggressive homosexuals. It targets leaders and the elite students who will become future leaders in America.
Drudge has a link to a report that has a link to the Gallup report. Maximum sampling error is < +/- 1%.
That 10% was a “jamming” initiative on the part of the left.
It was really hilarious that my libinlaw inserted it into a conversation as a complete non-sequitur to what we were talking about and everyone looked at her like she had 3 heads - “what the heck does that have to do with what we were talking about”.
I think there was a “directive” that went out from Sheeperal Central that you were to inject that into conversation whenever possible.
