'Independent' Audience Asks Twice As Many Anti-Romney Questions
Big Government ^ | 10/16/12 | Ben Shapiro

Posted on 10/17/2012 6:52:59 AM PDT by DFG

Candy Crowley’s disgraceful performance tonight masked her true failure: her failure to pick questions outside the Daily Kos mailbag. Here’s the full list of questions she pre-screened from members of the “independent” audience. They got more and more egregious as the evening progressed.

QUESTION: Mr. President, Governor Romney, as a 20-year-old college student, all I hear from professors, neighbors and others is that when I graduate, I will have little chance to get employment. What can you say to reassure me, but more importantly my parents, that I will be able to sufficiently support myself after I graduate? Romney answered this one easily, but the question itself was framed from a leftist point of view. It is no president’s job to guarantee anyone employment after they graduate. All a president can do is create the conditions for economic growth, which provides jobs. Score this one as a neutral question.

The young “undecided” female was apparently Code Pink operative.

From about the 40 minute mark on during the debate, the questions (aside from Libya) were just bizarre. No one cares about assault weapons bans, gender gap inequality, etc.

..."independent” audience...

I thought it was supposed to be an "undecided" audience.

The pig done screwed up big time. Her jumping to nobama’s defense on Benghazi was despicable. As a member of the clueless Lame Stream Media, she more than met my expectations.

And in that group of phony “undecideds” there was not one question about ObamaCare, that will literally bankrupt the nation and put every citizen at risk medically? Crowley certainly showed her bias writ large.

Jeremy (first guy who asked a question) tipped his hand right out of the gate. Romney was the first responder, but little Jeremy never looked at him — he addressed and never took his eyes of Obozo.

It was the chickie with the “equal pay for women” that finally did me in and I tuned out. Couldn’t get into FR, of course, so it was only this morning that I learned of Crowley’s shameful stunt.

That this is a surprise to anyone is astounding.

And what did Obama have to offer? Some jobs are just not coming back. Low-paying jobs.
There are young people who can’t afford college and don’t want to be in hock to the government for absurdly high tuition. They need OTJ training — you know, like the President has gotten these past 4 years. They need those minimum wage jobs. They need to work before they forget why they ought to work.
But Obama says get over it. Those jobs are gone for good.

I grudgingly give kudos to nobama for finally bringing up the 47% at the very end of the debate when Romney would have no chance to respond. That was a strategic plus.

I didn’t bother watching last night as I already knew several things:

1. Debates are set up for the Democrat to win.
2. Moderators are in the bag for Democrats.
3. Democrats will never answer a question, just use talking points from their handlers, errr campaign staff.
4. Going into a debate, it is the Democrats to lose, not the Republicans to win.
5. Every leftwing lunatic will come out the next day and say the Democrat won, even if the Republican was debating an empty chair.
6. “Leftwing Lunatic” includes the MSM.

So knowing this, I watched a movie, came here periodically and happily got tossed off the server a couple of hundred times (I’m a FReeper, I know what the risks are and accept them)

I took one thing away from the debate from all the reading I have done this morning. Despite almost everyone saying Obama won, they are also saying Romney looked Presidential. That’s what counts.

The panel did not represent an accurate cross section of American voters.

Funny how the 47% numbers is back after 4 years. After the last election when Obama was asked how he would represent the 47% of Americans that did not vote for him he simply stated

“I won”.

Looking at Jeremy, it will be harder for him finding a girlfriend than getting a job.

I knew an illegal alien supporter would pop up. If I was Romney, I would have hammered Obama for suing the state of Arizona for basically enforcing federal law, but Romney took a softer approach than I would have liked.

Who the heck really expected better from Clinton News Network and the “worst looking leftist person on TV” that already showed her stripes?

Would be insightful if Gallup or the Debate Commission would publish at minimum the whole bag of questions Gallup picked and the Manatee picked her’s from.

Still and all, Romney held his own and planted a nice time delayed stink-bomb or two.

Did anyone see the “unbiased” post debate on CNN and CSPAN ? We were subjected to constant video of the Obamas surrounded by their adoring “independent” and “undecided” voters posing for photos and waiting patiently for autographs. Split screen on one was 1/3 Bobby Jindal and 2/3 Obama.
