........I heard the president speak at the time. I, sort of, reread a lot of stuff about Libya because I knew wed probably get a Libya question so I kind of wanted to be up on it, said Crowley. I knew that the president had said, you know, these acts of terror wont stand. Or, whatever the whole quote was.
Right after that I did turn around and say, but youre totally correct that they spent two weeks telling us this was about a tape and that that there was this riot outside the Benghazi consulate which there wasnt, Crowley added.
He was right in the main, I just think he picked the wrong word, Crowley concluded. She went on to say that her instinct forced her to correct Romney even though his thrust was correct."...........

Romney can do that in the 3rd debate. let’s email his campaign.
Well maybe that Cow Candy threw Romney off with that blatant lie.Romney can do that in the 3rd debate. let’s email his campaign.
I think he will..the fat cow kept on interrupting him it was disgusting..and Crowley, even though she tried to help Obama, may end up ruining him because now people will focus on Libya since Crowley blatantly LIED to the American people
obama never answered the man’a question. He could have said “I did” but then he’d have to explain it. He could have said that’s State’s job but that would have shown weakness. He hurt himself on that topic even with Candy Striper’s help.
If ever Romney crosses paths with Mr. Crowley, I hope he sucker-punches that b*tch. Carrying water for Obama again and again. Is Mr. Crowley a transgender (more balls than Obama).
Yep. It can't have helped Obama to be seen as being rescued by the likes of Candy Crowley. He seemed quite pleased with her help though, it didn't seem to embarrass him at all. To appear pleased to have the debate moderator have to jump in and rescue you and gang up with you against your debate opponent does not make you look very Presidential.
Romney Right That Obama Didnt Call Libya Terror, But Thought He Picked The Wrong Word
Romney Right That Obama Didnt Call Libya Terror, But Thought He Picked The Wrong Word
It’s good if they can start using the word cover up (Like you said), otherwise I say “It’s the economy”. Maybe Rush can do that though as I think the media won’t.
Call me an optimist, but perhaps some of the other MSM outlets will smell blood in the water give this story some airtime.
Id call Obama a LIAR and bring up how at least with Watergate no one died..but I doubt Romney will do that..just has to say that this is a massive cover up and how the Obama Administration is hiding the truth from the American People
While the low-info voters might see it differently, I think the damage is through two things: (1) It highlights 0bama's lie and would also be highlight of the second debate the way Biden's laughs were, and (2) It triggered the sense of fairness among the independents. Most Americans are for fair treatment in sport. When the referee blatantly biased for one team, people might feel compel to punish the referee by punishing the team she favored.
I'm so nervous. I hope we win this election. Freedom is in peril.
She knew the moment she said it - it was a planned psychodrama.
She finally admits what we have been saying for years:
That the leftists in the media have such a built in bias that they cannot see it.
She called it instinct, but it was actually her intrinsic bias for the democrat and against the republican that caused her to jump out and back Obama regardless of the facts.
And we know she is aware of the facts because of her immediate acknowledgement of the error as soon as the debate ended.
So it was either her bias or it was intentional and overt siding with Obama - or maybe some of both.
I hope this dogs her around the rest of her career - like a dead albatross around her neck.
a debate between
President Barack Obama
and
some loser
Crowley is certainly a useless moderator, but I don't think it's constructive to insult her because of her weight. We should ideally restrict our criticisms to the overt bias which she displayed, rather than resorting mean-spirited personal attacks.
I don't mean to preach, and I know Crowley's behaviour was infuriating. I myself have on occasion probably been guilty of similar insults, but in this case I find them to be in poor taste and think that the substance of Crowley's unfairness should be the focus.
At this juncture, Governor Romney needs to attract every potential voter he can, Thus his supporters should maintain decorum. You never know which undecided voters might be reading these very discussions; some of them could be overweight themselves. It would be a shame to alienate such people.
Says it all doesn’t it!
since when does the moderator join the debate..and since when does the moderator make up her/his own rules.
...”Crowley said she had prepared for the Libya topic. Quite right. She was prepared to help her boy and thats exactly what she did. BUT, by interjecting herself so blatantly and INCORRECTLY in the debate, she probably did more damage to Bammy than Romney ever could have in one debate moment. For this topic will stay alive for days or weeks, extending into the next debate and making viewers even more skeptical of whichever liberal moderates that one.”...
I hope this topic will be what stands out from this debate. I jumped out of my chair when she made her remarks. Unbelievable! These leftists think, in this day of extraordinary communication, that they can talk you out of recent history you heard with your own ears and saw with your own eyes. I believe Ms Crowley is going to find out that this will not pass.
Since the “moderator” wasn’t a signatory to the agreement between the parties and the debate commission and Romney ‘won’ the first debate decisively.
