Obama running ads in California

Posted on 10/16/2012 11:12:44 AM PDT by deek69

The last two days while watching Fox in the evening, I have seen an ad for Obama. The ad has run a number of times. It basically say Romney has shipped all the jobs to china. Im trying to figure out why is Obama spending money in California?

Must be a national ad. We’re getting some of those in Texas too.

According to Fox, zeros lead is narrowing.

Why? It doesn’t make sense! California is a Deep Blue State.

Obama will carry it by more 10+ points. Its never been a swing state and Romney hasn’t even bothered running commercials in the state’s expensive media markets.

May be a national buy that has to be carried in CA.

Or for the Machiavellian mindset...he wants to win big in CA to pump up the “real” vote as opposed t the Electoral Vote.

Bam-Bam is wasting his money.

California is currently shipping all of its jobs out to the other 56 states.

Zero will win California and lose the election. This is a popular vote play. Best indication yet the game is over and the campaign is in damage control.

He’d carry it in his sleep! That’s why it doesn’t make it a lick of sense.

You’d want to run those commercials in FL, VA, OH and PA - states where a few thousand votes can make all the difference between victory and defeat.

Are these on Fox “local” stations or the Fox network? If it is network, then it is a “national” commercial...if it is on your local news, then he is indeed in trouble.

(I’ve known a few broadcast sales people.)

California is a four letter word...thanks to Biden!

B-R-O-K-E!

Maybe California sees Barak, at least partly, at fault, or at least makes their bad fiscal situation even worse (price of gasoline) than their governor has done.

If Barry’s ads are in high rotation in ILL-ANNOY, it will mean the white flag has been hoisted (unless ‘white flag’ is a dog-whistle term for being rassiss).

Obama will carry it by more 10+ points.

10+? In 2008 Obama won by 24 points. He will win by at least 20 this time around.

He probably doesn’t think he’s going to lose California, but seeing a significant narrowing there would serve to buttress significant movement elsewhere.

It’s an act of desperation brought on my his softening numbers across the must win states. He can’t let it be seen that he’s lost massive ground even in California.
