Biden Libya debate claim throws Hillary Clinton under the bus

The initial read on the vice presidential debate was that the normally gaffe-prone Joe Biden escaped the 90-minute exchange without a forced error. On closer inspection, it appears that he may have had at least one potentially troublesome misstep. When moderator Martha Raddatz questioned him about the unanswered plea for an enhanced security presence at the Benghazi consulate, Biden responded, “we weren't told they wanted more security there.” His response, if it is to believed (big if), effectively shifts blame away from the White House—and toward the State Department.

On Friday, Press Secretary Jay Carney found himself in the unenviable position of having to double down on this position, which he does in this video clip of the daily White House press briefing. When FOX News’s Ed Henry asked Carney whether he would say that “on Libya the buck stops with the State Department,” Carney argued, “There are countless [diplomatic] facilities around the world,” seeming to suggest that the job of keeping track of consular requests is simply too much for any one president. (For the record, the embassy page of the State Department’s website lists a total of 317 embassies, consulates, and diplomatic missions worldwide, but who’s counting?)

So what? It was a 90 minute non-stop unforced error for Biden.

He wouldn’t want her to interfere with his 2016 presidential bid after all.

I don’t think the regime can afford to throw Hillary under the bus before the election.
SHe is too popular with their biggest constituency, women.
They also need bubba to campaign for the dear leader. If they throw her under before the election its a sure loser for them.

This is all a diversion. A rope-a-dope. Of course the Beast Hillary should be thrown under the bus. Embassy’s are under the Secretary of State. And the Beast is Secretary of State.

That does not absolve the Zero admin for the cover-up, which is a seperate
issue. Embassy security is under the Secretary of State.

So Hillary should be thrown under the bus for Embassy Security failures
And Zero, Biden and the Executive Branch should follow Hillary under the
bus for the lies and deception to the American people.

“In an exclusive interview with The Daily Caller, Klein said sources close to the Clintons tell him that Bill Clinton has assembled an informal legal team to discuss how the Secretary of State should deal with the issue of being blamed for not preventing the Benghazi terrorist attack last month.”
