While CBS This Morning asked only one tough question on the Obama administration and Libya on Friday, guest Newt Gingrich came out swinging and dismantled Democratic guest Jennifer Granholm's defense of the administration. CBS has at times been friendly to the administration over the fiasco.
"I think with regard to the debate and the election, I don't think people are going to be voting on Benghazi. I think they are going to be voting on who do you trust," Granholm ridiculously argued. "You want to talk about trust? Having an American ambassador and three other Americans killed while the President lies to you is a pretty big question," Gingrich shot back. ...
"Biden on Benghazi was so wrong last night, it's going to haunt them from now until the next debate," Gingrich declared.

Intelligence failure?
Why is it that, I, simple me, knew the truth - weeks - before the President’s Office, the State Department, and the Pentagon?
There was certainly an intelligence failure you stupid talking head news Lady.
Now, we have 2 options:
1. They knew and lied.
2. They are weapon’s grade stupid.
Neither option allows for any “trust.” Neither option allows for someone that should be in office...
It is definitely a mess and I just heard Rush sum it up, “We deserve so much better.”
If they did not know they are incompetent.
If the did now they are liars.
So Obama / Biden which one is it or is it both?
What are Newt’s faults? A 30 sec spot with Nancy Pelosi and two failed marriages? Gingrich knows more about politics, conservatism, diplomacy and American history than anyone on the political scene at this time. You can put Romney, Ryan, Obama and Biden on the stage and Newt would win the debate, against all four. At a minimum, he should be Romneys press secretary, not appointing him would be like throwing away a national treasure.

PLUS, they asked Charlene Lamb if she made that decision because of budget restraints and she said "NO"!!

The Administration put a drone over the site to watch the murders, but they didn’t put an F-16 over the site to prevent the murders.

WOW! I heard Lamb say she was watching the attack - LIVE - but I thought it was from on-site cameras at the consulate .. not a drone.
And if they had time to launch a drone .. what amount of advance knowledge did they have that the attack was going to take place ..???
And .. if they knew it was going to take place .. why would they just watch and not do anything to save our Ambassador and his staff member ..??? Plus the two Seals who tried to come to the rescue of the Ambassador - but were caught in the melee. To watch and do nothing was CRIMINAL.
For me .. I still can’t shake the idea that it was the Obama/Biden stooges who planned and executed the making of the “video”, with the objective of having a ready-made excuse for the terrorist attack the stooges already knew was coming. I’m even going to go so far as to say I believe it may have been a Jarrett/Axelrod operation .. in order to make Obama look unconnected with the attack .. unconnected to another “terrorist attack” upon America on a 9/11.
My premise is reached because immediately both Obama and Hillary made this statement, “...We had nothing to do with this video”. Hmmmmm ..?? Both of them said it continually, even spending $70,000 to produce a commercial to espouse the idea “we had nothing to do with the ‘video’”. Geeeee .. is somebody protesting too much ..??
Also, as soon as the “film maker” was arrested - I was even more convinced of the admin’s involvement .. because I questioned .. was this action a way to hide the guy from the media ..?? And/or, to keep the film maker from exposing the fact the “video” was a ruse from the get-go!!

AGREED!!! And then some. Romney is now our man like it or not but he is like the dog that caught the car burt doesn’t know what to do with it now.
Gingrich is the man who knew why he wanted the car and knows what to do with it when he gets it. What he did as speaker had mistakes. He knew it and we paid for them then we stupidly threw the investment away.

No one does. I couldn’t help but wonder what Newt would have done if faced in a debate with an unhinged, foaming at the mouth opponent. I think Newt would have had a hard time not appearing condescending towards the chosen boy king. But Newt’s brand of confrontation would have been perfectly suited to turning ol’ BiteMe into a melted puddle of jello, along with the disgraceful moderator just for good measure. He could have had it done in 10 minutes, then spent the next 80 minutes articulating conservative principles.

Of course there is an advantage for the administration if they can mislead the American people. They are blameless if they can divert attention away from their failed policies and security of the embassy and then blame it on an B grade third party video.

They character-assassinated Newt and created a monster. Newt now doesn’t have to worry about whether they like him or not... they don’t. He is subsequently free to speak his mind and be politically incorrect.
Hey, I was one of his constituents when he was Speaker and I still have my "Friend of Newt" sticker. He is one of the brightest political minds around, but he does have a penchant for "stepping in it and tracking it in on the rug" at the worst possible time. With that said, he is probably too controversial to be in a cabinet, besides as a Washington lobbyist/consultant at a think tank he makes a ton more money, so I doubt he would be interested.
Do you think he was trying to tell us something? I believe the entire video and Cairo protest was a false flag cover for what they KNEW was going to be an attack that night. The subsequent protests were cover.
