A day after some national polls showed President Obamas edge over Mitt Romney evaporating, he responded first thing on Tuesday with a new commercial featuring Big Bird of Sesame Street and Mr. Romneys debate-night vow to cut financing for PBS.
It did not exactly take flight ....

Basically, the second debate between Obama and Romney becomes a critical episode. The President has to seem aggressive but he likely will be perceived as a poor debater in the process, and still lose more support. I think the election will be mostly over at the end of that debate. There’s not much of a reason for a third debate...it’d just cut into the President’s numbers even more.
A townhall debate style is really hard to do much of anything except appear like a nice guy. Its not set up for a real ass kicking on either side unless there is a major flub.
Every time either candidate is on the TV something can happen (a “spinnable event”, so to speak); Romney has to keep his guard up, even going so far as preparing for Obama to ask HIM for his birth certificate.
Until 1945 many average Germans still thought the war could be won (and fought accordingly); the media will be waiting until the last polls close on Election Day to stick it to Romney...
I hope Romney preps just as hard for this debate and anticipates any rabbit punches or tricks that Obama may pull out of his hat. I can see Obama doing something like having high tech contact lenses put in that act like a teleprompter or having an ear mic put in that is camouflaged to look like his real ear. It would be funny if Romney spotted the cheat devices and said what’s that going across your eyes; it’s like watching TV or O’s earpiece falling out at an inopportune moment. That would be the end for him at that moment. And the left says there is no God...hmmph
I wouldn’t be surprised if Obama used such an earpiece in his first debate; it would certainly explain the pregnant pauses. In such a format it still wouldn’t benefit him much; he’s in the hot seat because he has had the job for four years. Given the IQ of the average voter, Obama will be reduced to cheap shots that would appeal to a “Saturday Night Live” mindset - and it might work. The fact is that Romney is a genuine accomplished adult, while Obama is a spoiled product of affirmative action - it should be no contest.
Obama is a victim of the same dynamic that got him the job in the first place - the absolute despair of a large segment of American voters.
LOL. Next up...

Truth is Public TV is not very PUBLIC ANYMORE...
They are a big business.. that just had a Great Performances Special that charged $150 for a 15.00 DVD..
Logical to democrats and RINOS.. but obscene to anyone that knows they are not PUBLIC anymore..
Try to publish ANYTHING about the Muppets or other PBS characters or even to post anything on the PBS SPecial on You Tube..
You will be threatened or sued.. like any Corporation would do..
They are NOT PUBLIC.. they are aggressively NON PUBLIC..
Their very name is a lie...
As long as Romney remembers he’s in enemy territory, he should do OK. The attacks will likely come from the audience and the moderator as well as from his opponent.
