It’s been about 30 years since I worked in Rhodesia and South Africa. Back then, the whites were reading the writing on the wall and those that could were making plans on getting out. Most of the Rhodesians planned on going to the UK, even though a lot of Rhodesians were 3rd or 4th generation Africans. Many of the South Africans were planning on heading for Australia. The stubborn Boers were planning to stand their ground.
