Re: Junkmail from AARP. It’s a small matter but I always send their prepaid envelope back empty. At the very least they have to pay the postage. They are definitely partisan. I’m in an HMO and I like it. They, along with Obama undermined it. Their reward? One billion dollars as a shill for the insurance companies that sell Medigap policies. I won’t have anything to do with them. Return those envelopes!

“Come on, Dear Leader!
If you keep citing us you’ll blow our cover. We’re flacking for you in our mailings, our magazine and every way possible. But we’ve already lost a majority of our membership who could think for themselves and figured out what we are up to. If you keep this up even the dim bulbs will figure it out and we’ll lose them, too!
Love from your adoring subjects at AARP.

actually, AARP became the sales agent for the United Health Care Medicare advantage series of policies last year. I have such a policy I bought direct from United. The stuff they send says AARP/United Health Care.

I raise hell with them every time they call and they call a lot.

The new renewal period began October 1 and the new ads on TV for United Medicare advantage have dropped the AARP connection.

AARP took a money hit when it endorsed Obamacare. They are gun shy about hitching a ride on the wrong bandwagon.

F’em

AARP is absolutely libreal/progressive partisan...but this morning they saw the handwriting on the wall and moved to distance themselves from what is likely to be an epic fail.

They sure weren’t bipartisan when they were testifying on behalf of Obamacare.

HA! Take your medicine, AARP! You are most definitely partisan and there are many seniors who are aware of just that. This is exactly why you have lost a lot of senior members!

Big fat go-to-hell, AARP! You guys have openly campaigned for this bastard and are currently campaigning for him. Not only that, but I understand your disgusting organization got a “waiver” from having to use OBAMACARE on your own employees, while you try to force-feed that crap down the public’s throat.

My mother also was a member of AARP. She discontinued her membership when I told her that AARP supported the Liberal agenda-Obamacare. We also went elsewhere to purchase her supplemental insurance even though AARP/United Healthcare has a little more inexpensive rate.

I would use AARP’s own Business Reply Envelope to send back everything they sent to me. Credit cards, membership forms, and discount offers. All of it cut up into little pieces, and a note demanding they cease their correspondence as I have no interest in becoming a member because of their blatant leftist political activism.

Its been a year or more since I’ve heard from them. I think they finally got the message. The postage fees on those BREs must be expensive. Especially when all they’re getting in return is trash and nasty-notes.
