Romney on points — Obama didn’t make case for 2nd term

DENVER— Mitt Romney prevailed over President Barack Obama in their first debate on Wednesday — with Obama not able to present a forceful defense of his tenure in office or why he deserved a second term.

Romney put Obama off his game.

.....The best gut punch from Romney: That Obama had misplaced priorities his first years in office and put all his efforts into getting Obamacare passed — instead of jobs.

Obama never delivered a strong summary of what he did for job creation. He had a story to tell. He never told it.

Obama — who had been advised to boil down complex issues — rambled despite the warnings of his coaches. And he left on the table anything about Romney not caring about 47 percent of the nation — the stuff from that secret videotape.

.................Obama has learned painfully that he was elected president, not king, in 2008, and all his optimism about working with Congress — creating a post-partisan era — never happened.

When moderator Jim Lehrer — who was way too passive for my tastes, bringing up broad topics instead of questions — asked the rivals how they would break Washington gridlock, Obama — who has been through that ringer — did a total takedown of Romney.

After Romney said he would get Democrats and Republicans to work together — he would meet with the congressional leaders right away — Obama delivered a big dose of reality to Romney, who has pledged to repeal Obamacare from Day One.

Said Obama, “Well, first of all, I think Governor Romney’s going to have a busy first day, because he’s also going to repeal ‘Obamacare,’ which will not be very popular among Democrats as you’re sitting down with them.”

One debate down, two to go.

Precisely what is Hussein planning to do the next four years to get the economy moving - more of the same old sh*t from the past four years?

Maybe he did not want to bring up any video tapes or Romney may have mentioned some of his quotes from the Drudge tapes.

The angry black man video scared the hell out of team obama because it reminded them of what Obama really is like without a teleprompter. So they lobotomized Obama.

It only took six years of covering Obama twenty-four hours a day for the liberal mainstream media to discover they were dealing with an incompetent fraud who couldn’t handle a simple debate when his political career depended on it.

Will the MSM ever recover from the shock it received last night?

You leftists are more warped than even I thought. You wanted THE FOREIGNER to tell his story. What story would that be. How he wasted 4 years trying to get the green economy going. Totally neglecting the real economy. Blocked energy production, coal plants, enforcement of the borders. Maybe talk about his CODE PINK foreign policy diaster. By the way keep up with the 47% talk. That should be a real winner for you. I have only one word for you frauds. START PACKING YOUR BAGS.

Can you teach old liberal dogs new tricks? Are their eyes opened now? My wife said anyone running a corporation or large government should not need to be coached; just doing the job, they should know the answers. For instance Steve Jobs did not need a teleprompter, he just knew what to say about anything in regards to his company. A true leader knows what to say without being coached, if they are doing the job of running a large outfit.

If you're getting the job done, you can go to Vegas, be on The View, go golfing, and be able to handle a simple debate. Obama is indeed exposed as an incompetent fraud!

Case for a second term? What?

I will do absolutely the same things I’ve been doing, will do more of them, and will expect results 180 degrees opposite?

I’m beginning to think that was the purpose of the video. To shake the core of his identity (Who is the REAL Obama?) before the first time he ever had to actually defend himself on his own. That video wasn’t for the voters, it was for him to question his foundations of identity.

Obama was doomed in this debate! How do you defend being the architect of failure?
