We should not underestimate the gaffe-laden Joe Biden. This is Paul Ryan’s first debate on the national stage and he’s not been particularly impressive on the stump.

I agree. Joe Biden is like a Chimpanzee, cute, funny, silly, and capable of ripping your arm off. Don’t turn your back.
I’m looking forward to the VP debate, too. It should be a slam dunk.
But I’m beginning to worry a bit. Why? I’m a little afraid of Ryan looking like he is bullying a mentally challenged senior citizen. I think it would be hard not to look like that. Part of me wants to see Ryan go for the jugular, but the other part of me thinks a better approach would be for Ryan to treat Biden like an elderly demented relative. Explain things to him firmly and authoritatively, yet slowly and gently. Yes, Grandpa, I know the medicine is bitter, but you have no choice, you have to take it now if you want to get better.
