A robbery attempt went awry when a local business owner pointed a gun at the suspect's head.
The owner of Club Billiards was getting out of his truck around 10 a.m. Monday in the 900 block of W. Douglas when a man came up to him.
"He had his hands in his pockets. He stated he had a gun and wanted the victim's wallet," said Wichita Police Lieutenant Doug Nolte. "The victim stated that he also had a gun, at which time he produced a handgun and pointed it at the suspect's head."

Tactical mistake. The business owner violated Tuco’s rule.
“When you have to shoot, shoot. Don’t talk.”
In this case, while it would be tempting to put one between their horns, they might actually have a gun in their pocket, so use a low draw, below your belt line, and double tap them right in the belt buckle.
Tactically this is best, because at close range, people’s attention on themselves and others is much greater above the belt line, so it might buy you a few milliseconds. An interesting phenomenon you should investigate.
