NEVER happen. Never. The enviro’s and the dem’s have done a perfect job of telling us tapping into our own resources will take ten years and they have been saying it for forty years. In other words, we don’t have the capacity politically to strike when all sorts of international havoc will be unleashed. If we were actually energy independent and not on Solyndra style pipe dreams, we COULD nuke mecca and tell the world “they’re your problem now; oh, and don’t F’K with us”. As it stands now, all we’ll get is shut off from the rest of the world and really, what do they have to fear? We have already spent ourselves into exile and made our currency a joke. We have no manufacturing and we import H1-b’s by the thousands while not even beginning to protect our border and handing out freebe’s EVERYWHERE. It’s almost better to live as an illegal in this country instead of a citizen if you fall on hard times. What is THAT saying???
