Yep, know where New Ulm, MN is. I lived in S. Mpls and the family move to a farm just across the river from Wabasha over in WI. Loved it when "Grumpy Old Men" came out because I knew all the places it was filmed, both in Wabasha and Prescott.
You do know this thread is about German beer festivals, right? Not towns in Minnesota with names similar to German towns.
Southeast Minnesota is a beautiful place....also lived in Lake City and worked in Red Wing just prior to moving for work at 3M in New Ulm.
