Well, someone’s practicing deception here: it could be the cleric engaged in taqiyya, or the media who love to trot out Muslims of the minority sects (like the Ahmadis, the Ismaelis, the Qu’ran-only movement, and some Sufi sects) which actually are fairly peaceful and tolerant, and may have found a Kurdish Sufi who suit their “narrative”.
