He was probably depressed over the death of his Mother and not paying attention. That happens more than not.

Very bad news.

Prayers up for his loved ones, and the people he served.

Rest in Peace, Mr. Dever. May your family, friends, and fellow LE officials be comforted by God's Hands. Mr. Dever (Sir), you will be missed, greatly. Am asking God to setup another welcome home for you, Mr. Dever. Well Done, is the cry from Heaven you (Sir) shall have already heard.

I hope the “sketchy details” don’t turn into anything other than this was an accident.

Don’t think so, Gov Brewer liked him and the Evil Witch Napolitano was in D.C.

Oh, how tragic. My thoughts are with his family.

What a stellar public servant. A dedicated man like him is going to be tough to replace. How utterly sad to lose him.

I'm not saying we know anything yet about what happened but:

1) I vaguely remember during the Arkancides in the Clinton regime, that somebody rigged a car to suddenly accelerate and the guy in it drove straight into a brick or cement wall. I don't know how they triggered it. (IIRC it was the son of the man who married Vince Foster's widow and claimed to have found some of Vince's papers in her attic and wanted to talk about it.)

2) A person hiring a hit can make the deal from pretty much anywhere.

3) I think there was at least one other pertinent single car fatal accident during that time in Arkansas.

OTOH actual accidents DO happen. It becomes suspicious when the victim is one of the major effective protectors of our sovereignty at a time when people (in both parties) are working so hard to destroy it.

From the Flagstaff newspaper:

Larry Dever, the four-term Republican sheriff of Cochise County, has died in a one-vehicle crash near the northern Arizona town of Williams. He was 60.

Dever's death was confirmed early Wednesday by the sheriff's department. The department declined to release details of the crash or his death.
Larry Dever, Cochise County sheriff, dies at 60

That location (Williams) is many hundreds of miles away from Cochise County. Strange that no details are being released so it still may be under investigation.

Dave, our local paper says he was on his way to meet one of his sons for a 2-day hunting trip. Rifle season for elk opens on Friday, I believe.

The updated SV Herald article says he was on his way to a family hunting trip. One car roll over on a forestry service road. Unlikely that this is anything but a tragic accident. Prayers and love to Nancy and the boys. Larry will be greatly missed.
