A potential diplomatic storm may be brewing prior to the arrival next week of Egyptian President Mohammed Morsi in New York City and the White House.
State Dept (unclassified) brief:
Egypts general prosecutor issued arrest warrants and referred to trial seven Egyptian Coptic Christians and American pastor Terry Jones on charges linked to the inflammatory video, media report. The accused, all of whom are believed to be outside Egypt, could face the death penalty if convicted of harming national unity, insulting Islam, and spreading false information...

Some of us have been writing about the UN Resolution 16/18 which Hillary and the EmptyChair support. Is this at the bottom of this whole muslim rage thing...?

The first thing Morsi should be told when he gets off the plane is that the Money flow to Egypt stops NOW.
No more handouts from the United States.
Have the LA County Sheriff take Morsi into custody as soon as he steps on U.S. soil. He can wear a white towel over his head to hide his face.
They are attempting to impose Sharia on the US over this.

I understand Venturer but all Morsi has to do is tell the emptychair he’ll review the 1967 agreement. He has already demonstrated to Hillary and himself that he can whip up his country/countries in minutes, imo, every muslim country or part of it are aware.
Interpol was given permission by the emptychair to arrest any US citizen they so choose.
No, don’t even let him land. Hope he has enough reserve fuel...or not...
Cut off the money fer sure...
but don’t count on any of this happening either...
Not only here but the world/caliphate - most especially here because of our Constitution and Bill of Rights. They control our speech, they control us, they have the Caliphate. They’re in a hurry in case the emptychair loses.
Count me in!
Mohammed was a child rapist.
Islam sucks!
Hey Morsi! Ask Hussein to arrest us all!
Any DC or Maryland Freepers who want to protest outside the Egyptian Embassy?
I’d be up for this trip. I’m sick of this BS., and it’s time the Patriot Street give these muzzies some payback.
I can imagine some nice parody signs, mocking the Arab Street.
When the muslims have the cahones to bring it here....they’ll see a protest.
Obamas Resolution to Stifle Free Speech on Islam (2009 story)

On October 1, 2009, the Obama administration in conjunction with the Egyptian government, introduced an anti-free speech measure to the United Nations Human Rights Council (HRC). It was adopted the next day without a vote. Earlier this year, when the United States sought a seat on the HRC, it was a controversial decision. Many who found the HRC neither credible nor useful, opposed the move. Yet, others were more optimistic that America could change the HRC from within. Perhaps the U.S. could spur debate stemming from its opposition to China, Sudan, Libya, Cuba, and Saudi Arabia on critical human rights votes.
Little evidence suggests that Americans on either side of the aisle contemplated the US entering the ring and supporting the oppositions anti-freedom measures. Yet now, the current administration has done worse: its leading the charge. The draft resolution, misleadingly titled Freedom of Opinion and Expression includes two troubling components. First, it calls on nation states to take effective measures to address and combat any advocacy of national, racial or religious hatred that constitutes incitement to discrimination, hostility or violence. It expresses concern and condemnation of negative stereotyping of religions and racial groups. It further attempts to construe this as an international human rights law and obligation. Second, it recognizes the medias moral and social responsibilities and the importance that its potential voluntary code of conduct could play in combating intolerance.

“On October 1, 2009, the Obama administration in conjunction with the Egyptian government, introduced an anti-free speech measure to the United Nations Human Rights Council (HRC). It was adopted the next day without a vote.”
I dunno but it was one of the first things that occured to me. I mean within a couple of years, since the emptychair (and is regime) was elected, we’ve got this UN Resolution on freedoms (along with a bunch of other stuff we know and don’t know about); we’ve had an Arab Spring which wasn’t okay’d by Congress, a Muslim Brotherhood member elected as president already, this latest global rage because of speech, Morsi having the audacity to come here after the way our citizens were treated and he didn’t even apologize, (yet the Israel PM couldn’t get a visit), and now this latest State Dept (leaked briefing)...seeking the arrests of our citizens...
Does anyone know if the United States & Egypt have extradition treaties with one another ? I for one would not put it past the current junta to turn the alleged film maker over to the Egyptians since he has been taken into custody for allegedly violating parole/probation if such a treaty exists.
“the Money flow to Egypt stops NOW.”
Abdo-lutely! For all those “countries.” Cut off diplomatic relations. They’re worthless. Deny them all visas to come visit the UN. Maybe that will help in getting the UN outa here? Send the “diplomats” packing, and don’t let them back in. A shame! I always wanted to see the Pyramids. But who, in their right mind would want to visit the caliphate now! SCREW ‘EM!
And,,,, cut off Pakistan, and boldly support India.
Give DFU’s video some positive comments and popularity.

Timing of Egypt’s arrest request questioned
By Libby Lewis
Egyptian officials have filed global arrest notices with Interpol for some of the Americans charged for overstepping in their pro-democracy work in Egypt, sources familiar with the matter tell CNN.
(Listen to a radio version of Libby Lewis’ report here)
Officially, nobody’s talking about this politically sensitive topic - that goes for the U.S. government, the Egyptian government, and Interpol.
But some are questioning the timing of the notices, issued just after the Obama administration agreed to restart more than $1 billion in aid to Egypt, over objections from members of Congress angered that the Egyptians had pursued a case against the workers for non-governmental organizations.
“I find the case a shocking example of how Interpol is open to abuse by countries which are seeking to prosecute - not sex traffickers or drug dealers - but people campaigning for democratic reform,” said Jago Russell of Fair Trials International, a human rights group. He noted that such action “was not the desired intention of Interpol,” but added that “the lack of safeguards in the way Interpol works means it’s happening in practice.”
In this case, Egypt used informal arrest notices, called diffusions, rather formal Red Notices. Both have the same effect: They allow police around the world to arrest those named as fugitives and send them back to Egypt.
Complicating the situation is the fact that the United States has an EXTRADITION TREATY with Egypt. It can’t simply ignore Interpol notices from Egypt the way it could with notices from, for example, Iran.
The U.S. State Department would not comment on Egypt’s use of Interpol to go after the Americans, but State Department spokesman Mark Toner responded to a question about it at an April 5 briefing, saying: “We’re making this message very clear in every available forum, that we believe these charges are politically motivated and without any legal merit.”
Washington translation: There’s likely a lot of backdoor diplomacy going on, with Interpol as well as with Egypt.
There’s one more ingredient to add to this quintessential Washington mix: It’s an election year. This week, budget hawk Sen. Rand Paul urged President Barak Obama to delay sending the aid to Egypt.
Paul wrote: “Why would a country that is pursuing the politically motivated prosecution of American citizens be eligible for a dime of U.S. foreign aid, never mind the $2 billion in taxpayer dollars about to be sent?”

Obama is a treasonous SOB.
