Call for ban on sale of gun magazines to children gets massive public support (UK)

An overwhelming majority of people want gun magazines that show animals being killed for sport consigned to newsagents' top shelves alongside pornography, according to a new public opinion poll. An even higher proportion want the sale of such publications restricted to people over the age of 18.

Eight-four per cent of respondents to the NOP poll, which was commissioned by Animal Aid, favour a ban on the sale of gun magazines to children. Seventy-four per cent want them banished to top shelves.

The results come in the wake of the publication of a new Animal Aid report, called Gunning For Children: How the gun lobby recruits young blood. It describes the considerable resources Britain's gun lobby - composed of well-connected groups such as the British Association for Shooting and Conservation and the Countryside Alliance - devotes towards encouraging children to take up guns at a young age. Gun magazines, the report argues, serve as front-line propagandists for this recruitment effort.

Can you imagine their reaction to a US magazine rack? With titles like "Combat Handguns Magazine" and "SWAT Magazine", it would probably cause them to faint!

Kids will just buy magazines about sticks and imagine they’re guns.

Stick and twig mag sales will go through the roof.

Same here. "Hey junior, run down to the shop and pick me up a few .270 mags." Speaking of which, I do need a couple spares. Hmmm.

No gun porn for the kiddies?

That’s truly un-American....no wonder we threw the British out....

Good call fore-fathers!

Its a different world. When I was 7 or 8 years old I could go down the block and buy cigarettes for my parents. I didn’t need a note or anything. I just went in, picked out my candy and asked for a pack of Pall Malls and got them without anyone batting an eye.

See, that's the reason reporters talk about gun clips.

And you thought it was because they were just ignorant.

.no wonder we threw the British out....

We shot them first - they are still mortified by armed civilians to this day

History will repeat itself very soon in merry ole England with a slightly different outcome...

Can a British child still buy the STAR newspaper and turn to page 3?

I love the Brits, but they are like sheeple.

The Brit public has been browbeaten and brainwashed by the eunuchs in their government, to the point that they have
lost all backbone.

Next up for them is Sharia courts.

Stark, raving, gibbering, foaming at the mouth insanity.

These people have lost their minds.

They already have Sharia courts for Muslims in the UK, but you meant for everyone.

Probably not long

Same here and my Dad smoked Pall Malls. Not too long ago kids had easy access to smokes but a heck of time scoring a Playboy mag now on the other hand...

Yup, I remember that America. I remember being 10 and walking down the main street in my town with my friend and his BB gun on our way to shoot cans in an empty lot. Seems like another planet now.

After reading about these oblivious twits, I checked out their other news and saw tow female officers were killed.
They were unarmed at the time. Their ignorance is amazing.

http://www.rochdaleonline.co.uk/news-features/

“The two female police officers, who were unarmed, suffered serious injuries and one officer tragically died at the scene.” The other officer died later.

I have no pity for the fate the muzzyscum have in store for them.

On subscriptions will they have a box to check that you’re 18? That works so well on the internet.
