The attack that killed four Americans at the U.S. Consulate in Benghazi, Libya, apparently began as a spontaneous protest against an anti-Islam film before turning violent, Susan Rice, U.S. ambassador to the United Nations, said Sunday.
Rice, appearing in NBC’s “Meet the Press,” said she was citing preliminary information and that the FBI was investigating the Tuesday night attack that killed the U.S. ambassador to Libya, Chris Stevens, and three others. A wave of protests and violence has swept across the Middle East and elsewhere in the Muslim world over an obscure, amateurish movie called "Innocence of Muslims" that depicts Muhammad as a fraud, a womanizer and a pedophile. Anti-U.S. protests in 20 countries led the Pentagon to dispatch elite Marine antiterrorism teams to Libya and Yemen and to position two Navy warships off Libya's coast.

Not to mention “guessing” the location of the safehouse....
It must really suck to have to go around lying your asses off for an incompetent, irresponsible weasel of a president, but that’s the role they’ve chosen.

Is Rice a Muslim convert? But she seems to have been brought up as an Episcopalian and her family was from the academic/NGO world, so maybe she’s just a misguided liberal.
She worked a lot in Africa (she’s of African descent) and was Obama’s “foreign policy advisor” during his first campaign. Since the advice was non-existent to useless, or maybe since Obama ignored it because he had his own agenda, I’d say she’s not exactly a shining light in the foreign policy world.
Oddly enough, she seemed to be very opposed to Al Quaida in her early career, but I guess the Muslim Marxist Master has subdued her.
Susan, bless your Howard Dean advising heart, the allegedly "spontaneous" demonstration in Cairo was organized by the brother of Zawahiri, the current leader of al Qaeda, who seems to be living quite openly in Egypt among your Obama administration friends.
And the demonstration/riot was pre-announced back in August.
