watched Chris Wallace on F&F on Friday morning in his pre-FNS promo. He was laying down so much cover for Obama, while attacking Romney, that Gretchen Carlson started challenging some of what he was saying.

Wallace became obviously irritated at her and her questioning. He subtly signaled to her ‘hey, I’m in charge of the Fox News bureau, so back off!’

She did.

one of the few times she displayed anger/annoyance with Chrissy’s beltway drivel.

Good for her

Many of the ‘names’ in journalism, including broadcast media, were college, high school, or elementary school drop-outs.

Or dweebs who revel in the power of their word to influence those who can’t think for themselves

Thanks, I saw it - at least somebody has the guts to tell the truth! This is going to get beyond ugly as the State Dept/Obummer Admin do whatever is necessary to avoid the blame ..... their backs are to the wall.

Plus it it time to drop the PC crap and adjust to the cultural realities of the Middle East. Quit appointing women as Secretary of State. It is pure folly to send a female to represent the US in a region where women have yet to be elevated past the status of chattel.

“It is pure folly to send a female to represent the US in a region where women have yet to be elevated past the status of chattel.”

This is why I have not wanted a female as President, too. It isn’t about us.

We haven’t heard the President brag about killing Osama for a few days, wonder why?

Because that would force the MSM to report on the “ Obama we are Usama” chants.

With the Muslim rioters chanting “Obama we are all Osama” do you think maybe Obama ought to quit spiking the ball?

Keep spikin' it!

The vast majority of the demonstrators never saw the trailer. All it takes is a rumor to gin up these crowds.

I will give you an example. In 1980, there was a rumor that circulated in Pakistan that the US had taken over the Kaaba (the black cube)in Mecca. Although totally untrue, this prompted a crowd in Islamabad to burn down our Embassy and other buildings on the compound killing two Americans (including a Marine Security Guard) and two local nationals.

Most of the American staff took refuge in the Communications vault awaiting help from the host government. The rug in the Commo center was literally melting under their feet. The demonstrators, some of them armed, were on the roof firing into air vents. It was only the intense heat from the fire that forced them from the roof or the death toll could have been much higher. It was learned later how well planned this was. The demonstrators had been transported there by bus. They brought along tire jacks to pry the grills from windows to allow them to enter through the basement of the Chancery building. I saw the aftermath firsthand as part of the negoitiations we had with the Pakistani government to pay for the rebuilding of our Embassy, which they eventually did.

The bottomline is that the mob doesn't need any real reason to commit such acts. They can use anything as a pretext to gin up the crowds and tap into their hatred of the US and the West. And their governments condone it because it diverts attention away from their own failures. Rumors, videos, cartoons, etc. that serve as catalysts for these attacks and demonstrations are really symptoms of the hatred and volitility of these societies. It is a tinderbox that needs only a spark to set things alight. It is the reason why democracy will have a very hard time taking root in societies that are riven with tribalism, religious hatred, and poverty. It is why eventually a strong man or despot emerges. It is the only way to restore any kind of civil order to what is chaos.

Radical Islam is at war with the West. Until we identify the enemy, it will be very difficult to defeat.

Seconds later he had Susan Rice face-to-face and put he to her and she tried to weasle but was stuck on the movie meme “As of right now all indications leads us to believe..the movie”.

You can bet that Billy Jeff “ the meaning of is” is coordinating the weasel words.

Rice, just revealed level two of the denial with the “ as of right now” statement

They are trying to play run out the clock until the election is over.

Breitbart News just received this via email from Marine Corps spokesman Captain Kendra Motz:

While the Marine Corps did not “issue a statement,” we did respond to queries with the following information: . . .

Regarding no Marines at the embassy/consulate in Libya:

Embassy security in Tripoli and the consulate in Benghazi fall under the Regional Security Officer with the State Department. The U.S. maintains over 285 diplomatic facilities worldwide. MCESG provides 152 security detachments provide internal security at designated U.S. diplomatic and consular facilities in order to prevent the compromise of classified material vital to the national security of the United States. Perimeter security is the responsibility of the host nation police/security forces. The embassy in Tripoli and the consulate in Benghazi do not have a MCESG detachment. Typically, when a new embassy is established, it takes time to grow a new MCESG detachment. In coordination with the State Department, there was discussion about establishing a detachment in Tripoli sometime in the next five years. Overall, the plan is to grow the number of MCESG detachments worldwide to 173.

A FAST platoon deployed to Libya yesterday (12 Sep 12) to provide security for the U.S. Embassy in Tripoli. Established in 1987, FAST platoons provide a limited-duration, expeditionary security force to protect vital naval and national assets. FAST companies maintain forward-deployed platoons at various naval commands around the globe and possess U.S.-based alert forces capable of rapidly responding to unforeseen contingencies worldwide. FAST is not designed to provide a permanent security force for installations. FAST platoons are primarily designed to conduct defensive combat operations, military security operations, and rear area security operations in response to approved requests in support of geographic combatant and fleet commanders. When deployed to reinforce embassies with existing MCESG detachments, FAST platoons will customarily provide an outer cordon of security inside the embassy compound, while MCESG Marines maintain security of the chancery proper, and host nation police/security forces provide an outer cordon of security beyond embassy grounds.

Regarding ROE [Rules of Engagement]:

The Marine Corps does not establish ROE for MCESG detachments or other embassy security forces; that is the responsibility of the State Department and/or operational commanders depending on the command relationship. Regardless, ROE are classified and release of that information would jeopardize the Marines and U.S. interests. Any further inquiry should be directed to the State Department, since Marine security guards report to the ambassador not to a military commander.

Some added insights into his background/connection with Mitt R and understanding of economy etc.

http://www.nytimes.com/2012/04/08/us/politics/mitt-romney-and-benjamin-netanyahu-are-old-friends.html?pagewanted=all&_moc.semityn.www

in 1976, the lives of Mitt Romney and Benjamin Netanyahu intersected, briefly but indelibly, in the 16th-floor offices of the Boston Consulting Group, where both had been recruited as corporate advisers. At the most formative time of their careers, they sized each other up during the firm’s weekly brainstorming sessions, absorbing the same profoundly analytical view of the world.

Thanks for the information. Amazing. This reinforces my opinion that we have to defeat the enemy, we cannot negotiate with them.

I get to the point of supporting annihilation of offending countries instead of losing one more US soldier. It’s not worth the grief.

So...rumors of rabid imams ginning up their true believers at Friday prayers would probably be enough to stir up these guys? Especially if the topic was the US holding the blind sheik?

They are. The vast majority are dirt farmers with minimal education and probably have limited if any reading skills.

Many of the Middle East cities are worn down/dust covered , with people actually living in the “ city of the dead”

Specifically some people choose to live in the graveyards where there relatives are buried. Cairo for example. A comment freely offered by tour guides if you have ever visited that city.

It’s not all olive gardens, fountains, and figs.
