All in all, It was an out and out disaster for Obie on several levels, with several missteps before, during, and after. Initial Arab Spring policy. Lack of security. No Ammo ! Ignored warnings. Initial apologies blaming America. Stifling free speech. Egypt's "ally" status, and walk-back. Campaigning during crisis. And having the temerity to accuse Mitt of shooting from the hip. And in the months leading up to this attack, there were significant attacks against Western installations in Benghazi including an attack against the UK ambassador who was visiting in June, the Red Cross building, and an IED against our consulate. The UK closed down its consulate after the attack on their ambassador. For me, this is the greatest vulnerability Obama has and Romney should exploit it.
