Hotair reports how Admiral John Nathman (Retired, U.S. Navy) gave a speech at the 2012 Democratic National Convention to honor U.S. Veterans while using a graphic of Soviet-Russian naval warships instead of U.S. Naval warships as the background.
Searches of the Internet using “admiral john nathman” brings up a lot of results about his controversial campaign to change out the Navy’s urinals, which resulted in his being dubbed as “Potty John.” So, his speaking engagement is not his only brush with controversy.
Of course, O-Bumkiev is a COMMIE.

Actually Soviet ships would be appropriate for the DemocRATS, as they aspire to make us a marxist state.
Almost seems like the ‘pubs had a mole putting together the materials used at the DNC presentation.
Seems like most have overlooked this possibility. Or maybe an old navy chief or other patriot pulling a fast one on the DNCPC crowd to expose them as the fools they are. Regardless, someone's probably gonna get a dressing down but it may be worth it to 'em.

Like their empty chair leader, the DNC chose to blame someone else for using the graphic of the Soviet navy to honor the U.S. veterans. The concept of responsibility and authority seems to elude them as usual. Otherwise, they would have instantly realizeed they cannot blame the vendor without simultaneously implicating themselves in the failure to review and approve the images to be used before they were utilizeed and screeened. Surely a retired U.S. Navy Admiral could remind the DNC about the meaning of command responsibiilty, or not when it comes to the DNC?
Kudos to Rob Barker and the Navy Times. They demonstrate that not everyone is asleep on the watch.

Hey, don’t you know that a warship is a warship is a warship and there’s not a lot of difference between a carrier, battleship, cruiser, destroyer, frigate, or submarine. That’s according to the Donkeys at the DNC.
Someone at work asked me if I was watching the DNC....I told him that if I wanted to watch whiny children dressed as adults simper for votes I would watch Honey Boo Boo instead. He hasn’t talked to me since.
