According to the Wall Street Journal, the film depicts the Muslim prophet Muhammed as a "womanizer, pedophile and fraud" — depiction bound to offend many Muslims.

The Hadiths confirm the first two without any doubt. That is not up for debate. The only item for discussion is whether he was a fraud. A reasonable person could conclude this but it is debatable. He may not have intended fraud but might have been insane.

I have read many of the Hadiths. There is no way a person could reasonably conclude Muhammad was anything special unless they are just messed up or forced to accept that faith. Unlike Jesus' stories where there is incredible creativity and brilliance there is none of that with Muhammad. He was just a violent pervert

No question a comparison between Jesus and Muhammad is not even close. Jesus led such an exemplary life and had such a profoundly beautiful prophecy. That’s why it’s so sad to see Islam treated with kid gloves and Christianity denigrated.

Muhammad’s life was full of vicious wars, power grabs, sexual escapades. The whole example is in stark contrast to Jesus.
